I have long thought of carbon offsetting as just businesses contracting out the lying so they can claim to be #CarbonNeutral with plausible deniability for when they are found out to be not so.

Federal and most provincial #CarbonPricing for consumers is now dead in Canada. Murdered by the simplistic #AxetheTax chorus led by the Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre. Unfortunately many Canadians never did understand the program. As for the #blades there sadly doesn't seem to be much of an alternative to #composite #plastic which is not recycleable as even cutting it into pieces makes #GlassFiber shards that are jist barely less toxic as #asbestos.

Ryanair postpones the introduction of digital-only boarding passes.
The Irish airline is postponing the introduction of paperless boarding passes from May until the beginning of November, when passengers will be forced to use digital boarding passes.
Ryanair not only wants to simplify the check-in process, but also save over 300 tons of paper waste a year. This is likely to be part of its goal of becoming CO₂-neutral by 2050.
