Sunday’s gospel for #Advent2 has John the Baptist saying the wheat will be gathered up but the chaff will be burned with unquenchable fire. This isn’t a case of good people vs. bad people, but a case of God burning away our outer shells which have no value for the kingdom.
Looking at it this way, we all have some good seed that God can use.

Instead they delivered us huge bags of lucerne #chaff.

I’m wondering how to keep the stuff once opened. My feed storage tubs are full of cracked & crushed #lupins.

I fed the #alpacas & #sheep a mix of the chaff & lupins this morning.

Still not hot enough for Chaser the alpaca to start using the pool.

Chaser hangs back while the other alpaca & the sheep eat the mix of chaff and lupins.

A sunny day, lots of greenery for the animals to graze on.
