Tonight's #choons is some more of The Smashing Pumpkins, this time the seminal 1995 double album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness... Which was one of the albums of the year for me.
It was up against some very stiff competition that year.
Radiohead's The Bends, Garbage with their debut album. Jagged Little Pill from Alanis Morisette, Infernal Love by therapy, Paul Weller's, Stanley Road and Spacehog's debut Resident Alien to name but a few.
Currently listening to this as I cook some dinner.

Todays #workout was #rowing 8000m with a big #NegativeSplit. The first four fiths was at ~100W and the last fifth was at 104W. I was pulling 300W plus for the last stroke.
My last few rowing sessions have been really tough. I really struggled to finish two of them. Today felt good. Move Sweat Repeat. That's all it takes.
Some wonderful #choons helped. A 12" version of Born Slippy another one of Atom Bomb and finally the ever wonderful Work Bitch from Britney Spears.

Because @sharongascoigne just boosted a post about #EchoAndTheBunnymen I realised I'd not listened to them in quite a while and one of my top ten all time fave songs is this one.
You never know where the rabbit hole will take you, I only select the next song from the list suggested.
That this one popped up, gave me goosebumps. One of my brothers all time faves.
I lost my brother in 2007, Colin Vearncombe died during that awful 2016.
The song is beautiful & haunting, the video is simple yet stunning. But it's not a happy song, it's like surfacing after years of depression & melancholy.
This one is on my all time top ten #choons list.
Why... because it's fucking awesome that's why... and the #NoDoubt cover is almost as good.
Not forgetting this one
OK, how about this one... I wasn't even a teenager when this came out.
But it's song like this that caught my attention and made me fall in love with the genre.
