In the following article https://mediapart.social/@mediapart/112796121314728854 the journal indicates that the drilling of the TELT base tunnel has caused major perturbation of the water flow in the mountain, but I didn't understand from it whether this alteration was likely temporary (e.g. as a result of water being drained into the freshly drilled opening that hasn't received its internal covering) or definitive, and the involved mechanism.

Any specialist care to explain ?

Trias-Building in #Leipzig

This Building was constructed from 2012 to 2014 and planned by the #architects Schulz & Schulz. Despite being a #contemporary structure the #design resembles the #1920s with its dominant cornices and #modernist curves. It’s a stark contrast to the surrounding houses, yet through sticking to the historic lot size the building forms a continuous #streetscape and creates a nice entrance to the #historic city centre.

#civilengineer and #ArtHistorian Wolfgang Hocquel draws a comparison to the #Flatiron #building in #newyork which you can see in the second picture (taken around 1903 and stored in the library of congress).
