Quick sketches at the natural science museum in Bergamo (Italy).
It's an old museum in the city centre, with a strong historical, sometimes vintage (70ies) vibe. Quite fascinating, even if all the animals displayed are taxidermies, which I generally have mixed feelings about.

Six block print cards, three parchment patterned and three kraft, with three different prints on them, they are strange little critters inspired by medieval marginalia: a long legged bird like creature with a curling tail and very long beak. a creature with a bunny's head, upraised birds wings and forked lizards tail, and a flying snake like creature with feathery wings, a large leaf like structure at the end of their tail and a round furry head and sharp teeth.

Who could tell in the dark that these big colorful eyes aren't the ones of a big, scary predators, but rather just some strategic markings? ;)
