When you build apps & services that allow people to do things that would be illegal (like operate taxis or move money without trace) it’s not democratic.

Democracy presumes & requires a system where the will of the elected majority is enforced.

Libertarians instead build systems where those who do not like the will of the majority can hide and evade enforcement.
