This week @csmat and i replaced the very dim looking AKAI S1100s display backlight. It uses EL foil which we had to cut down into shape from a lager sheet. Sadly the display showed some broken pixel on the very left hand side of the display with the new backlight in place.

This is the first boot with the new backlight.

With these fixes in place the device finally booted. I was able to sample and playback some audio. I will conduct further tests that will include the MIDI interface but for that I first have to read the user manual.

Morgen Abend (23.02.) gibt es bei uns einen #FreeCad Workshop.

Wir werden einen Spulenhalter für kleine Kabelspulen zeichnen. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig. Zum mitmachen benötigst Du lediglich ein Notebook mit installiertem FreeCad. Melde Dich gerne bei Interesse.
