Just attended an impassioned keynote by Sonia Livingstone at #ECREA Audience Studies conference in Porto, reminding us that audiences are diverse, are not passive and are composed of people.
I discovered Audience Studies this year doing qualitative interviews with social media users and found it is really exhilarating and rich (and fun!)

All #ecrea keynote presentations take place in this beautiful hall that is like a cathedral. The dais is set, it's time for all of those brilliant academics to preach!
