G-BGTR, Piper PA-28-140, Liverpool Flying School, outside one of the old hangars at the original site of Liverpool Speke, some time in the early 1990s.
The original Speke Airport is now mostly buried under an industrial park, and the original terminal is now a hotel.
This (and the old terminal) is the only part of the original Speke Airport I've ever experienced, and even then only because the bus to Liverpool stopped outside, it was literally miles from the terminal - seriously open your fave mapping app, look up "Liverpool Airport", then look up "Crowne Plaza" - that is the original terminal building, now a hotel.
Now, off to the east, look for "Banks Road", then for "Skyhawk Avenue" - that is pretty much where this hangar was.
It's not surprising that they moved the General Aviation area to the side of the new runway, given that many training flights took longer to taxi out than they actually flew for!

Side view of a single-engined light aircraft parked facing to the right.
The plane is white on top with a grey lower half, separated by a blue stripe running along the body, as well as covering most of the engine cowling, especially directly in front of the cockpit.
The blue registration "G-0BGTR" is on the side of the rear fuselage.
The tail is the same blue, with a large, red, standing bird with it's wings stretched out and up, outlined in white.
A man wearing black pants and a dark blue jacket is standing in front of the planes nose, pulling on an orange towbar attached to the planes nose.
A faded black corrugated metal hangar is on the left of the background, with the faded yellow text "Hool 427-74" at the top of the open door.
A white lean-to on the side of the building on the right of the background has a dark green car parked behind it, with bright but hazy white sky filling what is left of the frame.
