Getting these two shots was an interesting experience given the lighting. It was dark, it was bright; it was drab, it was popping... Aerial work is still not my forté, but I enjoyed these.

I thank the Quileute Tribe for the opportunity to capture these photos of their sacred land.

We do driftwood in a big way in the #PNW #FirstBeach #QuileuteNation

A man is standing on a Sandy beach holding a puppy. A driftwood tree stump towers over him. The now dead root ball is at least 15 feet tall, and at it’s prime, this majestic tree had a diameter of 6 feet. The grey misty beach fill the rest of the frame, with more giant fir trees on a distant hillside.
