That's difficult to answer without a concrete idea of what a dependency is.

If it's who develops it, then #GhostBSD's major developers are in Canada, and #MirBSD's major developers are in the E.U./Switzerland.

If it's which BSDs would be unaffected if Microsoft-owned GitHub decided to pull the rug out from underneath them, then the answer is rather different.

Financial dependencies, and WWW/mail/other hosting dependencies, are different again.

We hadn't been logged into our #GhostBSD install for a while, we finally rebooted into BSD this morning and updated, and now the system's punishing us with flickery video. Maybe life would be easier without an Nvidia card

Your response proves my point. Linux has documentation whether you like the quality of it or not.

From your post, someone who has no insight in the matter, would conclude that there is no documentation at all in Linux, which is illogical

If you had stated that BSD has excellent documentation I would not have reacted, because that is a factual and logical statement.

Can you clarify? All Linux flavors I've worked on have man page structures thus Documentation.
Even when I compiled the kernel from scratch in the pre alpha days, the source code had comments including all GNU Richard Stallman sources

@hell Which seems strange. As a #BSD fan I'm happy to know there are other BSDs doing well like #FreeBSD, #GhostBSD, #OpenBSD, #HardenedBSD, etc. It means there is interest and diversity.
