Now that we have prepared for The New War, we take a break from Warframe to try out a new-to-me-at-the-time mod, Hideous Destructor. Who knew that this would become one of my favorite ways to play Doom, possibly any FPS game of recent memory?

Not only have I been swallowed up by its depth of complexity, enthralled by its ability to immerse me in its world, and enrapture me in the way it overhauls the vanilla game's systems, it opened me to a community of players and other modders who I would soon find myself among, clowning on the tyrant and it's masses.

meanwhile the new $70 Indiana Jones starts by forcing you to slog through 1-2 hours of forced story and then you get about 45 minutes’ worth of slapstick entertainment from beating up fascists and I had to stop playing after that because there was more forced story
