So I needed another controller so I'm not constantly swapping mine from device to device. (This really messes with some controllers, and Linux) So I picked up an 8 Bit Do Pro 2. And I'm honestly really impressed with this thing for the price! It's about half what you'd pay for an official Xbox, PS, or Switch controller, but feels great to use.
The buttons are all very sharp and nice, and very responsive. The Dpad feels at least as good as the pad on the Xbox One controller, and the thumb sticks feel a lot like the ones on the Dual Sense, but just a little heavier. The rumble function feels great, it's strong and subtle when it needs to be. And it's impressively flexible being able to work with Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 (via recent update).
I honestly wish I'd tried these sooner. :)
