A minimalist composition of a tennis court with intersecting green and red textured surfaces, marked by clean white boundary lines forming sharp geometric angles. At the center of the intersection, a small yellow wildflower with green leaves pushes through a crack in the pavement, symbolizing resilience and life emerging from an urban environment. Scattered dry leaves rest across the court, adding subtle texture and contrast. The photograph balances structured geometry with organic growth, highlighting themes of perseverance, fragility, and the coexistence of nature and man-made spaces.

Back from a bit of a social media break. But I was out shooting, trying a lot of older cameras, some of which I really enjoyed. So stay tuned for more to come.

"It's not the tracks, it's where they are leading". That brilliant line from one of my all-time favourite songs was ringing in my head when I hit that shutter. Shot with an Olympus E500, Ile d'Oléron, April 2025.

This is the spot where I jump off
this is the place where I save face
this is the part where I lose heart.
Over the pain and I'm past the bleedin'
its not the tracks, its where they're leading.
This is my best King carnivore,
this is my scream, s'just a dull roar
this is my hand I've shown you before.
Over the pain and I'm past the bleedin'
its not the tracks, its where they're leading.
Hasn't been so bad here I'll do it again
error of my ways, maybe one of these days
Hasn't been so bad here, I'll do it again
error of my ways, maybe one of these days
Its irrelevant i'm an elephant she's a mouse
A minimalist coastal scene with parallel tire tracks etched into smooth golden sand, leading the eye toward the horizon where gentle ocean waves meet a pale blue sky. The lines curve slightly as they approach the shoreline, creating a sense of depth and perspective within the wide, open beach. The absence of people emphasizes solitude and stillness, while the crisp, clean tones of sand, sea, and sky highlight simplicity and natural beauty. The composition balances geometric order with organic elements, symbolizing journeys, traces of human presence, and the quiet expanse of untouched coastline.
