#Research is international! 16 scientists with 14 different nationalities work in the #LEGEND and #MADMAX research groups. “This #diversity is an enormous privilege and asset for our teams,” says Béla Majorovits, who heads both groups. "Everyone brings their different cultures and their own perspectives to the table, which helps us find innovative solutions.
This is particularly important for the MADMAX experiment. We are developing a completely new detector design to find axion particle.

These are scientists and engineers of the MADMAX and LEGEND working groups at the MPI for Physics. The scientists shown in the picture come from 13 different nations: South Korea, Sri Lanka, Bulgaria, Italy, Pakistan, Germany, Hungary, Belarus, Spain, UK, Colombia, Canada, and China.

Folklore's Green Man has long fascinated me, as a gardener/landscape architect, but also since I read a book connecting him to Santa Claus (??)
