I watched this video and afterward saw the hidden #MagicEye image for the first time in my life.
This is not a video about how to see the image even. Just a bit about how they're made.
🎨🤯 Ah yes, diffusion models are "simple," if you have a PhD in rocket science and a decoder ring. Forget hobbling through incomprehensible papers—just squint hard enough, and these pixel-pushing wizards will reveal themselves to you, like a magic eye poster from 1993. 😂📚

Anyone remember pressing their nose to a CRT television and seeing the RGB grille?
Had a dream I was looking at my cellphone. I eventually scrolled to an image that had sort of a CRT grille effect filter, except...
It looked odd, so I instinctively pressed my nose against the cellphone screen.
Whomever had made the image had hidden extra visual information within the image. It felt like one of those magic eye images but on steroids.
Darn it!
#genuary11 - Impossible Day. Inspired by a comment on another fractal I posted suggesting it looked like a "Magic Eye" image, I wanted to try turning a fractal image into a 3D autostereogram. Maybe not impossible, but certainly ambitious for a genuary post. I came up with two variations - the first one where each layer of the fractal is rendered at a slightly different zoom level to give the perception of depth. The other uses a depth mask to embed a 3D image by shifting pixels of individuals rows. #stereogram #autostereogram #magiceye #genuary #genuary2025
Little autostereogram/magic eye static web app prototype I've been working on. This is a continuation of a project I started a long time ago, but more configurable and with better test images

Here’s something cool. I just took this photo, cropped and zoomed in, and saw that I caught a very trippy optical illusion.
What do you think? Are the birds coming or going?
And yes. This *is* the test.
Today I rendered a simple autostereogram (Magic Eye picture) using picotron. This was just a quick prototype to figure out stereogram rendering; I'm planning to do more (maybe blog about it?), though probably not in picotron.

Отсканировать фигуру и сделать #magicEye?
Да, это не очень сложно
Ухты, ухты!
Стереограмму magic eye сгенерировать довольно просто
