Can you somehow subscribe to other users' threads?
I find myself regularly bookmarking other users' posts for the sole purpose of later checking manually if more replies appeared. I see two issues with this:
1. It feels wrong to do manually what the network and app should do for me.
2. I probably don't see all replies from other instances. I'd hope that with subscribing I could increase their visibility to me.
I use the @Tusky app.
#Restore #follows / #followers. I accidentally blocked the #instance zirk.us (clicked the wrong button and the app had no security between, at least I didn't notice it.) At once, I clicked on "unblock instance" but got a message that I had blocked it. (I still can see it).

I'm sorry, if it hit you, I'll work on it tomorrow. This is a real abyss of Mastodon. 🙄 No easier method?
Do you also experience the problem that posts in #Mastodon often fail to load? Is there a way to fix this?

Solo sé que ella sufre ansiedad según nos acercamos al colegio. Y le cuesta muchísimo porque lo siente hostil.
El viernes sin ir más lejos su tutora le dijo al salir que este año terminaría repitiendo curso y salió llorando.
Recalco que llevan DOS SEMANAS de curso. Y ya vaticinan su fracaso al parecer.
Cuento todo esto por si tenéis información, conocéis casos parecidos o sabéis dónde podría acudir para recibir buen asesoramiento.

If I check the mark for hiding posts from accounts I have in a list, on "my feed", should the posts not be hidden in the home tab then?
Because they still pop up tgere, at least one account.
Maybe there's a lag?
I have a issue with mastodon that I want to hear if anyone knows how to fix.
I see several post where for some reason ether a GIF or a video is just black screen even that it knows how long a video file is since it shows it in the player.
At first I thought it were because of settings about sensitive media, but that is set to always show media and the same for always expand is also activated
And the weird part is that it looks like images don't have the issue
A friend of mine has an iPhone, I convinced her to create a Mastodon account and did that by using the Mastodon app from the Apple App Store - but that app seems not as full featured as the version for Android. Do you have a recommendation for a better Mastodon client in that land ?

EDIT: 3 days without problems, I'll wait a couple of days before calling this resolved, fingers crossed 🤞
The lists -feature* seems totally unusable, since the content people toot stays on the list for a couple of hours and then totally disappears.
Am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else experiencing this?
Should I just stop using lists and have everything in my home timeline. This makes it pretty messy. I really liked using lists.

Is it really still a problem, that #Mastodon won't (or can't) show me all posts that are part of my #timeline, just because boosted posts can be from remote instances, that mine doesn't know about?
And because of that, they're just missing? Shouldn't this be solved by now?
Edit: In this case, the instance is blocked. That explains it...

I seem to see some BlueSky posts here, so it seems it should be possible... but I don't see the particular accounts posts and don't seem to be able to find their account on Mastodon search.
Do they need to do something for Mastodon to see their account?... or?
