How do I uninstall a MELPA package from Emacs? With M-x package-delete?
Kaomel is now on #MELPA! 。◕‿◕。
A snappy #kaomoji picker for #Emacs with ~1000 kaomojis, multilingual tags, and support for both Vertico and Helm. No dependencies, pure Emacs #Lisp.
Install: M-x package-install RET kaomel RET
What started as "wouldn't it be nice to pick kaomojis without using the mouse" became a journey of solving interesting problems around dataset extensibility and completion framework flexibility.
hare-mode for #Emacs now available in #MELPA https://melpa.org/#/hare-mode
First #Emacs package on #MELPA 🥳
mu4e-walk
https://codeberg.org/timmli/mu4e-walk
With this package, you can move email addresses in a #mu4e compose buffer with just one keystroke.
Seems like a small thing (which it is), but I really needed it for my mental well-being. Plus, programming with #Elisp and extending Emacs is just so much fun!
A big thank you to the MELPA team for their support!
I’ve created a new #theme for #emacs if you like clear theme, vintage style and very minimal color highlighting. It’s called year-1984 and it’s based on the original Beige color of the first Macintosh.
If you’re a EMacs user, give it a try, it’s even on #melpa. ;)

Lobsters.el 🦞 is now in MELPA!
M-x package-install RET lobsters RET
Source code: https://github.com/tanrax/lobsters.el
#emacs #melpa #lobsters
A couple of new #emacs themes hit #melpa recently:

I live for new themes
Now merged into #melpa! My home brew #orgmode solution for creating invoices for clients. It leverages the built in clock table functionality to create a nested list of client->invoice items
@nebunez I'm a theme-switching addict myself; dracula is usually where I land when nothing fits the bill.
I wrote a small stupid theme gallery that updates daily: https://fussy.goofism.solutions
Presently only pulls from #melpa ; please do consult the next time you're "shopping" for themes :P
:emacs: My current-window-only package is finally available on MELPA
I've been running a few #HangTrek games lately. I've been using #emacs Calc mode to generate random letters, by generating random numbers between 0 and 25.
I happened upon decide-mode in #melpa so gave it a try. I can now ask it to roll a 1d26. That gives me a random number between 1 and 26.
Better yet, I can load a table of the letters of the alphabet, then ask decide-mode to give me a random line from that table. This gives me a direct random letter of the alphabet.
current status:
Trying to figure out how the eff to build & distribute my own #emacs #melpa package.
I had someone write it for me because i'm too ignorant of elisp, but now I've made some bug fixes and am having to reverse engineer the Makefile & assorted shell scripts to figure out wtf I'm supposed to do to package & release a new version

🤦♀️ the output of half of the targets in there is just a pile o lisp spewed to the terminal. so that's fun.
have your tried "format-all" from #melpa ?
Am I the only one late to the party?
