Apparently Twitch updated its TOS at the end of October for simulcasting which brings it more in line with other platforms. Simulcasting is allowed, if:

1. The quality of the Twitch stream is not worse than is available on any other simulcasted stream
2. The streamer does not direct their Twitch viewers to leave Twitch for the simulcast on other services
3. The streamer does not do things to combine the streams like merging chat or other features "to ensure the Twitch community is included in the entirety of the experience"

Additionally, they will be including a way to designate the stream as a simulcast.

Finally got around to setting up my multistream system. Shout-out to @Halefa for dripping the honey in my ear with a well written blog post.

I went with #prism running on a separate local machine feeding both my #twitch and #owncast instances.

Additional thanks to @fribbledom for #prism - pretty simple set up that I overcomplicated in an ansible role.

Ahora a excepción de plataformas para móviles como #TikTok o #Snapchat esto está prohibido.

Estos otros dos puntos de los términos y condiciones de #Twitch parecen lo suficientemente amplios como para penalizar el uso de #VPN y #AdBlockers.

@chriswere Have you ever attempted multi streaming? You stream on multiple sites but you have PeerTube as your main one.
The other ones work as "outreach channels".

That way others can see your stuff even when they're not on #PeerTube.

Ever tried #Multistreaming ?

Downside with services that do it for you: They basically "own your channels". Also most won't support custom #RTMP URLs like #PeerTube.

#PeerTube is a gradual relocation process. I need a decent instance. Few out there.
