The Rainbow Bridge National Monument is said to be one of the largest known natural bridges in the world. It is majestic, extending 290' into the sky and 275' across Bridge Canyon. So amazing to see firsthand how the power of wind and water had a role in sculpting this remarkable landscape. It's actually an arch though named as a bridge. Photography by Debra Martz

The view of La Ventana Arch just gets better as Ranger Sarah gets closer. The eastern escarpment of the Cebollita Mesa consists of cliffs of Jurassic Zuni Sandstone capped by Cretaceous Dakota Sandstone. The arch formed in the Zuni Sandstone.
