Veranstaltungen wie diese müssten viel häufiger im ländlichen Raum stattfinden, denn wer einmal erlebt hat, wie die Philharmoniker "Martin Luther King" aus Duke Ellington's Konzert "Three Black Kings" (-> 1:20) aufführen, wird sich dem Sog der Musik wohl kaum entziehen können und erlebt konkret, was uns über Grenzen hinweg verbindet. 1/2

CPR di Milo era stato limitato dalle rivolte, poi riaperto, poi reso inagibile, poi ancora riaperto nell’ottobre del 2024 e subito si è cercato di metterlo a regime. Le persone detenute hanno così lottato per poter tenere i propri telefoni cellulari dentro la struttura, come succede in altri CPR: il prezzo da pagare era romperne la fotocamera.

Queste riprese coraggiosamente e generosamente strappate alla sorveglianza, che qui ci siamo permess* di montare, mostrano l’ordinarietà della vita reclusa dentro il CPR di Trapani Milo.

Within a single landscape, living territories overlap, and any
movement involves crossing thresholds, so that living things
constantly evolve along, within, and across borders. You could
say that the border is their milieu. In turn, every milieu is a bor-
der in a certain sense, that is, an interface and a zone of exchange.
On the maps familiar to us, however, borders are lines, not
spaces. Whether they mark the boundaries of villages or can-
tons, regions or nations, maps have played an essential role in
the establishment and solidification of these initially arbitrary
borders (even if they are sometimes supported by some physical
reality), which are then gradually inscribed into reality, each
line on a map having an impact on living things, their modes of
existence, and their paths (fig. 19). The cartographic tradition’s
enthusiasm for borders, their physical establishment, and their
visual representation by certain animal and human beings, can
perhaps be explained by the need to create frames—a need that
varies by society and species—in order to delimit a protective
space, an envelope, even though this space constantly eludes us
because we share it with others, and because it depends on oth-
ers. These fictitious frames around us limit our movement, but
they also hinder that of others—other species or other members
of our own species. Since we take space with us wherever we go,

Seit Herbst 2024 werden die Grenzen zu Deutschland intensiv kontrolliert. Bundesinnenminister Dobrindt ließ die Kontrollen mit tausenden Bundespolizist*innen und Millionen an Steuergeldern am 7. Mai 2025 weiter verschärfen. Am 2. Juni erklärte das Verwaltungsgericht Berlin die Zurückweisungen von Asylsuchenden an der Grenze klar für rechtswidrig. Dobrindt und Co. setzen dennoch weiterhin auf offenen Rechtsbruch und bedienen sich unverändert rassistischer Hetze.
Deshalb wird es gleich eine Kundgebung geben!

'Khlebnikov’s fundamental political position was that the world should have no borders. That was partly due to his upbringing: the camels and horses in the camp where he grew up were not interested in borders. Throughout his life, he remained committed to the nomadic values of the Kalmyk people.

'But, although Khlebnikov hated territorial borders, he loved the idea of borders in time. He did not want fences, customs posts and certainly not trenches (remember this is going on during World War I, when people were fighting for a few yards of squelching, blood-stained mud). But what about borders in time? When people sing together, they must all keep to the same beat and sing each note together. Synchronising the voice means being aware of borders in time. Once the whole planet is singing, the only borders will be in the dimension of time. Natural rhythms, such as human heartbeats, the sun, the moon and the tides, would be used to set up these borders. He considered it vital not to transgress borders in time - they were needed if the world’s inhabitants were to get on with one another. By contrast, borders in space were in his eyes just bloodshed and murder.'
