I anyone doing a risk assessment of EU businesses using US-owned cloud solutions (physical DC location irrelevant) now that Trump has not only shown he'll break any deal entered into by his predecessors, but even deals he have entered into himself? The bilateral privacy-related "safe harbour" agreements between EU and US are now effectively worthless, and it's just a matter of time before one of the parties will declare them null and void. At which point EU companies are likely to face emergency legislation forcing them to move PII to EU-owned vendors.
