This is a typical pattern for the last day of #EAA AirVenture when the Midwest is full of GA traffic outbound from KOSH after a great time at #OSH25 #avgeeks #aviation #flying
EAA Air Venture Day 6: I'm exhausted. I tapped out early and went back to sleep but before that I visited the Good Year blimp up close and then went to the Museum for that sweet air conditioning. My body is definitely feeling the week of trekking around the grounds. I probably hit my limit yesterday, but I had a ton of fun this year! I'm skipping out on Sunday because I need to rest.

Air Venture Day 5: I went to visit the warbirds again, checking out the part I skipped earlier. Then I walked South to the Vans Aircraft booth to breathe on the RV10 (and to remotivate myself to build). More walking south until I got to the South 40 camping where I took a bus to the Seaplane base. It's so chill over there, like a whole different world. Then I worked my way back to the grounds and took trams all the way North to meet @JohnOCFII who was very nice and let me hang out under his plane wing and chat.
Successful day! Tomorrow is my last day there and taking my time to slowly see everything and chat with people has been outstanding.
Already missing all my friends…
#OSH25 was a blast… watching airplanes fly was great. Hanging out with my friends, and making a bunch of new ones was greater. Everyone have a safe trip home! #campbacon

Day 4 at Air Venture: I drove a tram for 4 hours and then wandered around looking at stuff while watching A-10 aircraft wizz around the sky.

Good morning! I'm watching the #OSH25 Boeing Plaza Webcam this morning as I have coffee https://www.youtube.com/live/TOXd0n_ZCSg?si=jt9WS_2rkBsgqXWn
The Super Constellation is not a small airplane. But it's amazing to see it dwarfed by the actually big stuff.
I'm still watching #OSH25 from afar, still receiving notices. Early on, I always skipped the night airshow, as the group I was with didn't have interest. Once my son started going, and the trip became ours, it was different. We tried one and enjoyed it.
It's definitely a unique experience. It can be awesome when near an aviation crowd. A couple of times, we were near some....less aviation minded people who only came for that part of the spectacle and their attitude and conversation were like being near the obnoxious and rowdy sports fans. But in the right group, a fantastic experience.
It’s a rainy day at #osh25 and we’re enjoying our ginormous tent. It won’t be so enjoyable when the heat arrives behind it.
Day 2 at Air Venture 2025. Wandered around the warbirds a bit and had a good time. I won't be going tomorrow due to a heat index of 105F (40.6C) and some potentially severe storms.
Nick from JetTip, along with Kid 1 and Kid 2, were at EAA AirVenture on Sunday and Monday; highlights included arrivals of the U-2, 747SP, VC-121A, and a surprise MiG 29! There was also the DC-8, PB4Y-2, B-29s, B-1, and thousands of other beautiful aircraft! #osh25
Big positive news out of #OSH25:
MOSAIC is done and signed. Can’t get link to work on my phone, so just check eaa.org.
Incident at #OSH25 just closed the airport with a maxxed out Conga line. Everyone inbound is going into holds.
Lots of planes peeling off back to Endeavor. ATC telling everyone to check their fuel.
This Utoob channel has both the FISK arrival into #OSH25 and ADS-B conga line:

Since I'm watching #OSH25 from afar, I'm seeing things i dont usually see. Normally, I'm traveling on the way there, so I don't see the mass arrivals. Now I'm getting a feeling for when that happens.
@rayhindle Here's the Bonanza arrival! #OSH25
