Serious incident involving a van vs. a man on a bike or motorbike.

Emergency responders on scene (DFB: two appliances and crew); all inbound traffic lanes closed, motor traffic attempting to manoeuvre around the scene via adjacent traffic and bus lane.

Take care in the area.

Another view of the same location as the first post in the thread. This time the "accessible ramp" is completely off the footpath. Tough luck, I guess.

#PHIBSBORO: If you use a wheelchair, mobility scooter or similar, you will not be able to go between Doyle's Corner and Peter's Road (along the footpath on the northside of the road).

An accessibility ramp at the location of roadworks, where an alternative route for pedestrians has been put in place off the footpath and in the carriageway. The accessibility ramp is off the footpath, leaving a gap and a section of kerb remaining, and defeating the purpose of the ramp entirely.

⚠️ HAZARD for cycling in Phibsboro

Road workers are obstructing the cycle lane and general traffic lane on the Phibsboro Road inbound, after Doyle's Corner (just beyond Rothar and the Dublin Bus stop). No provision made for cycling - take care on approach - if cycling, take the lane.

I couldn't see from where I was whether the footpath was also obstructed, but it's probably safe to assume it was.
