I didn't realize how crappy my wireless
#Skullcandy earbuds were until I compared them to my cheap wired
#Skullcandy earbuds and then my wired
#Phillips headphones. I'm pretty surprised at the noticeable differences I detected from the three listening devices!
The
#Skullcandy earbuds in comparison seemed to have a low bitrate or something. The sound wasn't very crisp.
The wired
#Skullcandy earbuds sounded good and had a lot more depth...but has that hissing issue when it's sending an audio signal but isn't receiving any sound, and seemed to struggle with clarity at lower volumes (I tend to prefer to listening at the lowest volume that I can reasonably hear the audio in order to protect my ears); it wasn't horrible, but I did notice this. (Disabling the
#Dolby audio effects on my phone helped greatly with this issue!)
The
#Phillips headphones had even more clarity, with no hissing issues. I am noticing that, at least from what I've tested, headphones tend to have higher quality audio than earbuds, but I'm not sure why that's the case. Maybe it's just the devices I've used thus far.
(Edited because the wired earbuds were actually
#Skullcandy earbuds, I was in the dark so I misidentified the device.)
