Palestinian Resistance Launches Rocket Assault Into Occupied Territories, PIJ Carries Out Action

Air raid sirens sounded Wednesday evening across Askalan and several Gaza-enclosed settlements, following a fresh wave of Palestinian resistance rocket fire.

According to Zionist media, three rockets were launched from northern Gaza shortly after the initial siren alerts, setting off a second round of alarms in the northern Gaza envelope. The strikes reportedly targeted a Zionist tank gathering stationed along the perimeter fence north of the besieged Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that the barrage was launched at the occupied cities of Asdod and Askalan. The group confirmed the operation was “in response to the Zionist massacres against our Palestinian people.”

The renewed resistance response comes just hours after the occupation forces confirmed the death of a First Sergeant and the injury of another soldier in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, earlier Wednesday.

Zionist deaths mounting

On Tuesday, the occupation military acknowledged the death of one of its soldiers during ongoing confrontations in northern Gaza.

Around a week and a half prior, additional Zionist soldiers were reportedly killed in separate operations by the Palestinian Resistance.

According to the Zionist Public Broadcasting Corporation, one soldier was killed at the time during confrontations in the al-Janina neighborhood of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. He was reportedly struck when an RPG hit a building during the confrontations. Two other soldiers were injured in the same incident.

In the same area, another soldier from the Golani Brigade was killed when an explosive device detonated beneath a tank from the 188th Brigade, wounding the entire crew.

Additionally, a Reserve Sergeant First Class was killed in an operational traffic accident near Nahal Oz along the Gaza border. The soldier was reportedly struck by a truck during an engineering mission. The exact circumstances remain under investigation.

Resistance announces several operations

Palestinian Resistance groups announced several operations against Zionist troops, as the latter launched their wide-scale ground invasion of Gaza, further escalating the genocide against Palestinians.

Palestinian Resistance fighters detonated a pre-planted GBU-39/B bomb abandoned by occupation forces, destroying  military vehicle during its advance on al-Muntar Street in Gaza City’s al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood on May 12, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement reported on Tuesday.

In the same context, Abu Khaled, the spokesperson for the Martyr Omar al-Qassim Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), confirmed that one of their combat units, operating in northwestern Gaza, set up a well-planned ambush for a Zionist infantry patrol in the al-Atatra area.

Abu Khaled explained that the area had been rigged with explosive devices. The fighters lured the advancing troops into the ambush, where they opened fire and detonated the explosives beneath the soldiers, causing direct casualties. The Zionist force was forced to call for drone-supported reinforcements.

The spokesperson explained that the operation’s staging area had been prepared with explosive devices, allowing the fighters to draw the advancing Zionistforces into the ambush, where they unleashed gunfire and detonated the planted explosives at close range, inflicting direct casualties among the soldiers and forcing the Israeli unit to request drone-assisted reinforcements.

Abu Khaled added that the group’s commander, Zakaria Rami Abu Ouda, was martyred in the fighting, noting that Abu Ouda’s comrades managed to retrieve his body from the battlefield and return it to their positions.

Occupation admits one soldier killed in Gaza

Meanwhile, the occupation military acknowledged the death of one of its soldiers during ongoing confrontations in northern Gaza, identifying him as Yosef Yehuda Hirak from the 601st Engineering Battalion. This brings the total number of Zionist troops killed since the war began on October 7, 2023, to 857.

In the same area, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, had earlier announced carrying out a coordinated ambush against occupation forces in the al-Atatra area west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to the al-Qassam Brigades’ statement, three military vehicles were targeted with two “Shawaz” explosive devices and a “Tandem” shell, followed by direct confrontations with another Israeli force. The Brigades confirmed that the operation resulted in dead and wounded among the occupation forces, with Israeli military helicopters seen landing at the site to evacuate casualties.

Ansarallah Targets Ben Gurion Airport, PIJ Bombards Settlements With Rockets

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they launched a hypersonic missile targeting the Ben Gurion airport on Tuesday, reaffirming the aerial blockade on the occupation entity.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces’ missile unit launched a hypersonic ballistic missile strike on Lod Airport, known in Israel as Ben Gurion Airport, in the occupied area of Yafa,” the group said in a statement.

The missile achieved its mission successfully, forcing millions of Zionist settlers into shelters and halting air traffic at the airport for around an hour, the statement added.

“This strike reinforces the ongoing flight restrictions at the airport and sends a clear message to airlines still operating in occupied Palestine: they must follow the lead of those that have already suspended their flights,” the Yemeni Armed Forces said, reaffirming their air blockade on the occupation.

The Yemeni group asserted that their operations will continue until the war on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.

Zionist  media claim missile intercepted

Earlier on Tuesday, the occupation forces announced that they had detected a missile launch from Yemen toward the occupied Palestinian territories, while sirens sounded in vast areas, including al-Quds, Tel Aviv, and Netanya.

As Zionist forces scrambled to intercept the missile, Ben Gurion International Airport suspended all flights, with footage capturing terrified passengers on the runways and settlers across Tel Aviv rushing to bomb shelters.

Zionist media claimed that the Yemeni missile came close to reaching its target before being intercepted.

‘Over Trump’s head’

Zionist journalist Amit Segal, reacting to the incident, observed that the Yemenis had launched the missile just as then-President Trump was delivering a speech in Yemen’s neighbor, Saudi Arabia.

Zionist journalist Barak Ravid offered a striking description of the situation, noting that one could practically imagine a Yemeni missile passing over Trump’s head as he delivered his speech in Saudi Arabia before continuing toward the occupation. He noted that while the Yemenis had agreed not to fire on American ships, this restriction didn’t extend to other American targets.

Local sources reported missile fragments landing in settlements near the West Bank city of Qalqilya.

Al-Quds Brigades targets occupying settlements

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced on Tuesday evening that it launched rocket barrages targeting occupied Isdud, Askalan, Sderot, and Israeli settlements in the Gaza Envelope.

The Brigades’ Rocket Unit confirmed that the strikes were carried out in response to the massacres committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.

Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades confronts Zionist engineering unit

Earlier on Tuesday, fighters from the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed upon returning from the frontlines that its fighters had engaged in a confrontation with a Zionist engineering unit using light weapons and had eliminated the driver of a Bagger-type military vehicle.

The al-Qassam Brigades stated that the operation took place on Sunday in the eastern part of the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, in eastern Gaza City.

Zionist Super Heron drone downed over Gaza City

On Monday, the al-Quds Brigades also announced that its Resistance fighters had downed a Super Heron drone while it was flying over Gaza City.

This comes as the occupation military continues its genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip since reneging on a ceasefire that brought two months of relative calm.

Gaza death toll surpasses 52,900

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced earlier on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Zionist war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now exceeded 52,900 martyrs, with more than 119,700 injured. Since March 18 alone, over 2,700 have been martyred and more than 7,600 wounded.

Hundreds of bodies remain under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable due to relentless Zionist attacks and debris blocking access.

Ambulance and Civil Defense teams face immense challenges in responding, as they too are targeted in what officials describe as a systematic effort to paralyze rescue efforts.

Palestinian Resistance Inflicts Casualties in Jenin and Gaza

Zionist media reported on Saturday that nine Zionist occupation reserve soldiers sustained minor injuries overnight due to an explosive device detonation in the Shuja’iya area in northern Gaza, during a military sweep operation.

Among the injured, according to the reports, were two senior officers, the deputy commander of Division 252 and the commander of Battalion 6310.

The explosion comes just a day after the occupation military announced the killing of two soldiers and the wounding of four others in combat in the southern Gaza Strip. One of the wounded soldiers was reported to be in critical condition.

The military named one of the slain as Isai Alekem Orbach, who died in the first incident, while the critically wounded soldier belonged to the 605th Engineering Battalion under the so-called Barak Division.

The escalation follows a Thursday statement by the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, which claimed responsibility for targeting a 12-member Zionist engineering unit preparing to detonate a home near the Fida’i junction in the al-Tannour neighborhood east of Rafah, southern Gaza.

Operation ‘doomed to fail’

Zionist newspaper Haaretz condemned on Friday the ongoing “Gideon’s Chariots” operation in Gaza, calling it a doomed and misguided military campaign lacking both domestic and international legitimacy.

The operation, according to the paper, is built on political illusions and military objectives that are neither clear nor achievable.

Military correspondent Yaniv Kubovich reported that newly issued operational directives to Zionist army commanders ranked captive recovery at the bottom of mission priorities, which reinforces longstanding concerns that the war’s publicly stated objective, the return of captives, was never taken seriously by either the government or military leadership.

Kubovich noted that the internal list of objectives undermines recent statements by Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and military spokesperson Avi Dovrin, who publicly emphasized that freeing captives was the army’s primary mission.

PIJ attacks in Jenin

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced that its fighters targeted Zionist occupation forces’ equipment and troop gathering points at the Jalameh checkpoint with heavy gunfire, confirming that Zionist forces sustained casualties.

The Jenin battalion explained that this came as part of the initial response to the occupation’s assassination of Sheikh Nour al-Bitawi, one of the group’s most prominent military leaders in the West Bank.

In a statement, the Al-Quds Brigades mourned the martyr Al-Bitawi, along with the martyr Hikmat Abdul Nabi, one of its fighters in the Nablus Battalion.

It is noteworthy that the two martyrs, Al-Bitawi and Abdul Nabi, were killed on Friday, in a airstrike following clashes with the occupation that had besieged them for several hours in the Ain Kakoub area, near the Al-Masakin neighborhood, east of Nablus.

Islamic Jihad mourns the death of a freed captive leader

In a related development, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement and its military wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, mourned the death of the liberated leader, Moatasem Taleb Raddad, who was martyred in an Egyptian hospital after 19 years of suffering in Zionist prisons.

The movement explained in a statement that the martyr was a victim of medical negligence by the Zionist Prison Service and intelligence services.

Hamas and Resistance Factions Propose New Ceasefire Guidelines

Multiple sources in Hamas confirmed to Ultra Palestine that the Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo today carrying a position that was agreed upon by all Palestinian factions.

Accordingly, that position hinges on three “red lines”: the resistance’s weapons, a comprehensive deal, and ending the war.

The sources added that the military wings in Gaza recommended not returning to “tried-and-failed partial deals,” as these do not guarantee an end to the war, withdrawal, opening of crossings, aid entry, or prisoner exchange.

Regarding the resistance’s military capabilities after nearly 2 years of war, a Hamas leader stated: “Anyone who advises against partial deals and refuses disarmament is, without doubt, prepared for the longest possible confrontation and steadfastness.”

Another Hamas leader indicated optimism about the proposal, given that the mediators and Americans already knew Hamas’ position. Hamas conveyed clearly that “weapons are a red line” to the mediators. However, a leadership source added that they are willing to discuss a truce of four years or longer, “as long as the weapons issue is not raised before a political track toward ending the occupation exists, and the truce meets the resistance’s four well-known conditions from the war’s outset.”

He added, “Weapons can be discussed after the occupation ends and handed over within a national army—or whatever framework is agreed—but as long as the occupation remains and Gaza is under attack, we will not accept any formula for negotiating weapons.”

The source added that Hamas does not wish to continue administering the Gaza Strip, preferring a nationally agreed government or the Community Support Committee. Hamas is also prepared for a prisoner exchange deal, provided it is in full, not piecemeal.

The source added that Hamas raised its demands after past rounds in which maximal flexibility from Hamas was interpreted by the “israeli” negotiators as weakness, compelling the movement to put matters “in their proper context” to counter plans where concessions are considered dangerous.

The delegation currently in Cairo is of the highest level of leadership in the Hamas movement (Mohammed Darwish, Khaled Meshal, Khalil Al-Hayya, Zaher Jabareen, and Nizar Awadallah). This delegation, according to the source, holds the status of “decision maker,” not a delegation that seeks to discuss technical or formal details.

Palestinian Authority Betrays Militants & National Consensus With Inflammatory Posture

Mahmoud Abbas began the PLO’s Central Council (PCC) two-day meeting today by calling Hamas “sons of dogs”, claiming falsely that surrendering all zionist captives would stop the genocide, and echoing “Tel Aviv” in demanding that Hamas disarm.

Abbas calling Palestinians animals is nothing new. At his May 2023 speech at the United Nations, he said openly: “Save us. Man, why don’t you save us? Even animals, we have to save them, right? If you have an animal, don’t you protect them? Shame on you that you don’t protect animals.” Perhaps it echoes Gallant’s infamous description of Gazans as “human animals” more.

Discredited from the start:

The PLO Central Council has only met twice since 2018, most recently in 2022. Both meetings were boycotted by prominent Palestinians and factions within the PLO (such as PFLP, PPP) as well as PNI and independent Hanan Ashrawi).

This year is not different: PFLP (a PLO member) and PNI (Al-Mubadara) boycotted this year’s two-day meeting before it started.

Moments ago, the DFLP (also a PLO member) announced its withdrawal from the meeting after the conclusion of the first day, in protest of “the leadership’s failure to respond to…national unity, a national strategy to confront the genocide in Gaza and annexation of the West Bank, and implementing the outcomes of the Beijing Declaration.”
Notably, the DFLP did not boycott previous meeting held in 2022.

With the boycott of PFLP, PNI, and DFLP, the three most significant parties after Fatah have withdrawn, leaving Abbas essentially alone.

A blatant power grab:
The meeting is expected to be the most significant in terms of changes to the PLO since its inception, coming in the wake of numerous unilateral changes by Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah to lay the groundwork for further consolidation of power, including significant internal reshuffling and reallocation. Dozens of forced resignations (firings) have been enacted across the PA, from the Prisoners Commission, to ambassadors, to the Prime Minister.

Abbas has made decrees renaming and changing position of ministries and ministers in recent weeks and days, for reasons related to financial and power allocation.

This comes after Fatah’s repeated refusal several proposals for a unity government by over a dozen factions in the last two years, as well as a massive $1.8 billion aid package from the EU to the PA that was implemented a few weeks ago. In February, the PA silently accepted a $680 million offer from the US to crack down on resistance in the West Bank, which they happily obliged.

Just a week later, Abbas cancelled stipends for families of prisoners and martyrs, an American-zionist demand that Abbas previously promised to never concede on; Abbas freed up $150 million per year for his good behavior.

The Palestinian Authority’s hands are soaked in Palestinian blood, with their US- and EU-funded bullets resulting in the martyrdom of 21 Palestinians since October 7th, 2023, while they carry out nonstop abduction campaigns and hold dozens of political prisoners.

On Sunday, 300 PA officers were ordered to Cairo for a two-month training they are forbidden to refuse. Egyptian mediators suggested that these officers are earmarked to police Gaza when conditions allow.

At the PCC, and as he laid out at the Arab Summit in February, Abbas is set to announce a Vice President of the PLO for the first time ever, without consulting with any factions within the PLO. The meeting with also see amendments to the PLO charter.

Palestinian Reactions to the non-Palestinian Authority:
Condemnations poured in from every corner of the Palestinian political spectrum following Abbas’ tirade, from resistance factions, civil society groups, and even from within Fatah itself.

In response to Abbas, Hamas leader Bassem Naim stated: “At a meeting that has usurped the legitimacy of the Palestinian people’s leadership, Mahmoud Abbas used foul language to describe a large and genuine segment of his own people.”

PFLP leaders derided the meeting, stating that no real reform came from previous meetings. The PFLP previously set conditions for their participating in the meeting, namely reform of the PLO based on resistance and democracy, and they made their position calling for national unity clear during recent meetings with Fatah, while affirming the PLO as the “sole representative of the Palestinian people.”

The Assembly of Families of Palestinian Prisoners, as well as the Assembly of the Families of the Martyrs issued condemnations, too. “Where is the cause of tens of thousands of Palestinian prisoners in the president’s agenda?,” they asked. “Does Mr. Abbas not envy the way ‘israeli’ leaders cherish their captives and exhaust every avenue to free them?” The Families of the Martyrs said it was a stab in the back, highlights “the gulf between the Authority and the resisting Palestinian reality.” They asked “where was the Palestinian leadership during 564 days of aggression and when Gaza was besieged, starved, and annihilated?” They affirmed resistance in all forms cannot be abandoned, surrendered, or negotiated.

Hamas expressed hope that the meeting could be “a genuine opportunity to build a national unified position” against the zionist entity’s genocide—if the Council would have enacted its own previous resolutions (stopping security coordination, escalating resistance, and severing ties with the zionist entity). Hamas not formally joined the PLO, but it has expressed willingness to accept its framework if it is reformed. Since 2022, however, Fatah blocks these steps and imposes new pre-conditions at every turn; meetings in Algiers, Beijing, Moscow, and Cairo did not yield tangible changes due to Fatah’s monopoly on the use of force.

The Mujahideen Movement was direct, stating that the meeting does not constitute a real Palestinian consensus, and continues the PLO’s history of isolation and exclusion while ignoring its own decisions. They affirmed complete support for armed resistance. Likewise, the PFLP called for a completely separate meeting that includes all factions.

The Popular Resistance Committees denounced Abbas’ speech in strong terms, rebuking Abbas’ false claim that the resistance gives “pretexts to the occupation”; they noted that occupation did not need a pretext to block Abbas from visiting Damascus or banning his Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa from visiting villages in Nablus and Ramallah in the last week. They condemned Abbas’ description of Palestinians as “dead” and affirmed that resistance is guaranteed by international and divine laws, charter, and conventions.

Fatah Revolutionary Council member Fakhri Barghouti affirms that the PCC meeting does not represent the PLO or Palestinian people, but rather “a gang that hijacks Palestinian decision making.” PNI Secretary-General Mustafa Barghouti responded to Abbas: “The victim cannot be held responsible for the occupation’s crimes.”

The Ahrar Movement also condemned Abbas’ statements, stating that the meeting should have been held at the beginning of the war, not two years into genocide: “Our struggle with the zionist enemy is an existential, ideological one that admits neither surrender nor submission. If Mahmoud Abbas and his coterie live and thrive off such submission…they do not represent our proud people or its aspiration for freedom and liberation, which lies in its weapons and its resistance.”

What unites the above is a shared conviction that real legitimacy flows from resistance, not the isolated leadership of Ramallah.

The Authority’s Continued Obstruction:
Several factions called for adherence to the previous agreements of the PCC, as well as the implementation of the pan-faction Beijing Agreement of July 2024, which has not materialized, like previous meetings. Currently, closed-door Fatah-Hamas reconciliation talks are taking place, where Fatah has attempted to impose some conditions that sound like they came directly from “Tel Aviv.”

The DFLP, in its announcement of withdrawal all of its delegates from the PCC, stated that Abbas outright refused their proposals for unity and a national consensus plan at today’s meeting. They expressed surprise that the Central Council did not take up the mission of unification and shock at the absence of national dialogue. They closed by stating that the DFLP is withdrawing because “refuses to share responsibility for the results of this meeting and for any disastrous consequences for the national cause.”

Later, DFLP politburo members expressed that they strongly rejected Abbas’ remarks and the monopolization of the agenda of the meeting by Fatah. The PNC’s Vice President, DFLP politburo member Ali Faisal, was completely excluded from the preparations for the meeting.

The meeting was centered on the dictatorial creation of the Vice Presidency of the PLO, not Palestinian grievances and aspirations.

The Palestinian Resistance Forces Alliances (Damascus-based; includes Hamas, PIJ, PFLP-GC, and others) issued a statement completely rejecting Abbas’ speech today, which they considered as detached, an insult to resistance, promotes division, and sows hatred.

They affirmed that the PCC does not reflect Palestinian popular will or aspirations, and that the convention serves to entrench hereditary rule through a leadership that has lost its legitimacy. They stated that Abbas’ attack is a desperate attempt to weaken unity for the benefit of the occupation.

“We say to Mahmoud Abbas: If you truly care about the future of this people, you should end your career with an honorable national stance that restores the value of our people’s unity and its institutions…We stress that our people will remain faithful to the choice of resistance; neither words nor imposed councils can assassinate it.”

True legitimacy:
Ironically, Abbas started his speech by calling for “a unifying national foundation” and that Fatah is “continuing the struggle,” despite nearly everyone else calling out their blatant bluff, except the sycophants in the room in Ramallah who clapped for him.

All the while, Abbas’ gang refuses unity proposals, cancels elections at every chance (while blaming “israel”), and ruled by decree with support from the US and Arab regimes. As the second-oldest head of state in the world, he is still serving his term that expired over 16 years ago. 90% of Palestinians want Abbas to resign, a figure that has only risen in quarterly polling, while over 60% call for the dissolution of the Palestinian Authority (70% in Gaza).

His rant crystalizes the issues with the PLO and PA: they are not forums of national consensus, but a stage for unilateral decrees that drift further from Palestinian popular consciousness with every passing day. Gaza remains under fire, the West Bank is occupied, but the gulf between the rhetoric of Ramallah and the resistance of the righteous has never been larger.

As Naji Al-Ali drew decades ago, the PLO cuts through the fabric of Palestine.

Abbas will carry out dictatorial changes without consultation and appoint his own successor, confirming what factions have long stated: real Palestinian legitimacy is not represented in the halls of Ramallah, but by the rifles of the resistance, the blood of the martyrs, the screams of the wounded, and the groans of the prisoners.

Al-Quds, al-Qassam Brigades Carry Out Momentous Joint Gaza Operation

Palestinian Resistance factions have intensified their operations against Zionist forces in Gaza, with both the al-Quds Brigades and al-Qassam Brigades reporting attacks on Zionist engineering units in the eastern part of Gaza City.

On Tuesday, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced it had targeted a engineering force with a barrage of 60mm mortar shells. The force was reportedly operating east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

A day earlier, the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for luring a engineering unit into a pre-rigged tunnel trap in the same area. According to the group, once the unit reached the tunnel entrance, it was detonated, causing casualties among Zionist soldiers.

Dismantling Hamas ‘not a realistic goal’

Zionist newspaper Maariv reported that dismantling Hamas was not currently on the government’s agenda, citing the group’s resilience and continued combat capabilities. “Contrary to initial assessments, Hamas still retains a significant number of fighters, some of whom are organized into brigades and battalions,” the report stated, adding that Hamas’ guerrilla warfare tactics are complicating the occupation army’s efforts.

Additionally, Haaretz reported that the Zionist Southern Command has acknowledged that large numbers of Hamas fighters have regrouped in the city of Rafah, further challenging Zionist military objectives in the region.

‘Breaking the Sword’ operation footage

The al-Qassam Brigades published video footage of a military operation titled “Breaking the Sword.” The operation targeted Zionist forces near the separation fence east of Beit Hanoun.

The footage, shared shortly after news of the explosion, shows al-Qassam fighters engaging troops in the same area where the explosion occurred.

This marks a continuation of Hamas military operations targeting Zionist forces positioned along the border with Gaza. The group has increasingly publicized such operations as part of its strategic messaging.

Ambush after ambush

On Sunday, the al-Qassam Brigades said that its Resistance fighters executed a complex ambush against occupation forces east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza

In detail, al-Qassam stated that its fighters targeted a Zionist military Storm vehicle, used by the Combat Intelligence Battalion of the Gaza Division, with an anti-tank shell, inflicting confirmed casualties.

When occupation reinforcements arrived for rescue, they were ambushed with an anti-personnel explosive, leaving troops dead and wounded.

The Al-Qassam also confirmed targeting a newly established Zionist military position in the ambush area with four RPG shells, followed by mortar fire, and the group’s military media released footage showing the attack on invading occupation vehicles near the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad spokesman Mohammed al-Hajj Musa Statement on Disarming

The fundamental position—whether regarding what is happening in the Gaza Strip or in the West Bank—is that this weapon, for us, is a legitimate weapon. It does not belong to any faction, and no Palestinian has the right to even discuss or negotiate over the issue of the weapon. This is the right of the Palestinian people, as long as they remain under the burden of this occupation and this criminal aggression. Those who demand the surrender of our weapons, or who go and attempt to take our weapons in the West Bank, are the very same ones who used to ask us, as Palestinians, to throw stones during the height of the Intifada—when we were being killed and had nothing but stones. The core issue is not the size of the weapon, nor the nature of the weapon, nor its geographical location. The core issue is that they want to strip us of our will and force us to submit to the theft of whatever remains of our lives. Therefore, the Palestinian resistance—and we, in the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine—say that we will not surrender a single bullet except as a firey bullet directed at the chest of those who try to take even a single bullet from us. We say that this weapon will always be directed at the heart of the occupation. And we will not give anyone the opportunity to even discuss with us the issue of the weapon. This is the weapon of the martyrs, the legacy of the martyrs. This weapon is a trust from all those now under the rubble or living in tents.

And this weapon is a trust of the entire Palestinian people—guarded with blood, guarded with souls.

Palestinian Factions React to New Zionist Ceasefire Conditions

Negotiations for a renewed ceasefire and an end to the genocide in Gaza appear to be at an impasse after the Zionist regime issued new demands for Hamas and the Palestinian Resistance to disarm in its latest proposal that offers only a temporary halt to attacks on the Palestinian territory, where the death toll is quickly approaching at least 51,000. The occupation issued its latest proposal to Egyptian and Qatari mediators on Monday, offering a 45-day temporary ceasefire in exchange for Hamas releasing 11 Zionist captives still held in Gaza.

Hamas said in a statement that it was reviewing the latest Israeli proposal and would respond as “soon as possible”.

Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri stated clearly prior to the release of the official statement that Hamas would not accept any demand to disarm, saying that “as long as there is an occupation, the resistance will continue”.

“The request to disarm Hamas is not even acceptable to hear. This is not just a red line, it is a million red lines,” Abu Zuhri said. “Everyone should understand that this is a dream – daydreaming. It cannot be achieved.”

Hamas has insisted that the Zionist regime commit to ending the war and remove its forces from Gaza. In return, it has offered to hand over all remaining captives “in one batch”.

In fact, there is unanimous consensus amongst Palestinian Resistance factions about the red line for the occupations demands. Below we publish a few statements:

— Palestinian Factions (National and Islamic Forces):

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulThe Follow-up Committee of National and Islamic Forces has monitored the news regarding the new proposal for a ceasefire, which includes a clause for the disarmament of the resistance and the handing over of zionist captives to the occupation without any genuine guarantees for ending the war of genocide against our people and for the complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. In this context, the Follow-up Committee of National and Islamic Forces affirms the following:

1) We reject the logic that exaggerates the primitive weapon victim, which is intended solely for self-defense, at a time when the United States announces the delivery of a large shipment of lethal weapons and heavy bombs—which are being dropped on the heads of our defenseless people—to the occupation (the murderer).

2) The Gaza Strip represents a security zone for the Arab Republic of Egypt and separates it from the enemy of the Arab nation. The people of the strip represent the vanguard of Egypt’s army and its primary guardian, and Egypt constitutes a strategic depth for the Palestinians.

3) Any truce that lacks genuine guarantees for ending the war, ensuring a complete withdrawal, lifting the siege, and undertaking reconstruction will be a political trap that legitimizes the occupation rather than resisting it. Mediators and the international community must exert pressure on the zionist occupation, which has historically been known to renege on all agreements and understandings.

4) A massive deception operation is underway by focusing on the issue of disarming the victim, while the core problem lies in the occupation’s failure to implement the three-phase agreement—which the Palestinian side agreed to and committed to. Even the zionist community itself recognizes that it is Netanyahu who has sabotaged the ceasefire agreement amid lethal international collusion and silence.

⚔️ Popular Resistance Committees:

The zionist entity continues its terrorism, fascism, and bloody crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip, deluding itself that it can achieve its goals by subjugating our people and resistance through American military and political support and the complicity and hypocrisy of the international community. We affirm that the Palestinian resistance is open to any proposal that ends the criminal war and genocide waged by the entity against our people — including the withdrawal of the zionist enemy from the Gaza Strip, reconstruction, the entry of aid, and relief for our people without any conditions. We stress that the enemy’s inclusion of the resistance’s weapons in the ceasefire proposal is intended to obstruct and sabotage negotiations. It proves that the enemy has no desire to reach any agreement that would lead to the return of its captives or an end to the war, aggression, and daily massacres it commits against women, children, and all segments of our people.

The weapons of the resistance are a fundamental right of our people, non-negotiable, and directly tied to ending the zionist occupation, liberating our land and holy sites, and achieving our people’s goals of return and liberation. We will defeat the illusions of the zionist enemy and its American ally — illusions they attempt to impose on our people through iron, fire, and bloodshed.

Resistance Committees in Palestine
Tuesday, 17th of Shawwal, 1446 AH — Corresponding to April 15, 2025

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Political Bureau member, Comrade Ahmad Abu Al-Saud:

The resistance’s weapons are a pure right of our Palestinian people and are not subject to any negotiation or discussion.Hamas informed the Egyptian mediator, on behalf of all Palestinian factions, that the resistance’s weapons belong to our people and are not up for negotiation. There is no rational party, inside or outside the resistance, that would accept surrendering the weapons and leaving our people unprotected.

Weapons are the first line of defense and a fundamental pillar of our people’s existence and their insistence on the right to self-determination.

Our people are exercising their legitimate legal and humanitarian right to defend themselves against the occupation, as guaranteed by international laws and conventions.

A Hamas leader to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed:

Internal assessments indicate that the recent round of negotiations in Cairo has failed, given the framework that was presented during the talks. The proposal presented, in the form received by the negotiating delegation, is completely rejected by consensus among all of the factions and is non-negotiable, due to its condition of disarming the resistance and its failure to guarantee the end of the war and the withdrawal of the occupation army from all areas it occupies within the Gaza Strip. There is an American-“israeli” plan aimed at stripping the resistance of the prisoner card, in order to implement U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to depopulate and evacuate Gaza. What is hindering them is the prisoner card and the pressure it exerts on them. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump are gambling with the fate of the captives.

The movement is not willing to give up the resistance’s weapons. These weapons belong to the Palestinian people.

Numerous proposals have recently been put forward to meet “israeli” demands regarding resistance weapons and leadership, which have been unanimously rejected by all resistance factions, not just Hamas.

Palestinian Resistance Increases Operations Against Occupiers

Gaza’s Al-Quds Brigades announced that they have killed a Zionist soldier in Gaza on Sunday, as the Occupation Forces continue their brutal war on the Strip, killing more than 50,000 people since March 18.

In a statement published on Monday, Al-Quds Brigades announced that one of its snipers successfully eliminated a Zionist sniper who was situated on Al-Mintar Hill in the Shujaiya neighborhood, East of Gaza City.

Last Saturday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced firing a rocket barrage at the occupied settlement of Nir Yitzhak in response to the massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip, amid a brutal Zionist war and siege on Gaza.

On Sunday, Saraya Al-Quds took control of two quadcopter drones in Gaza. They also shelled enemy soldiers and vehicles in the “Morag” area using 60 mm mortar rounds.

The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades shot down an enemy drone in Gaza.

Furthermore, two occupation soldiers were seriously wounded in Shuja’iyya, east of Gaza City, after being trapped in an ambush inside a home.

Occupation media reported that a Zionist soldier was injured in a ramming operation in al-Khalil, in the southern West Bank, on Monday, with the individual behind the operation reportedly fleeing the scene.

Zionist Channel 12 highlighted that the operation occurred near the Otniel settlement.

This incident comes amid the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, which reignited in March 2025 and is concurrent with escalating attacks by Zionist forces across various areas of the West Bank.

Al-Quds Brigades publish a statement by the late Abu Hamza on Quds day

Al-Quds Brigades published a pre-recorded speech by the late spokesperson of the PIJ’s military wing, Abu Hamza, during the commemoration of al-Quds Day on Friday.

In the speech, the martyr Abu Hamza affirmed “commitment to the path of resistance and armed struggle until liberation,” pointing out that the military and war course in “Al-Aqsa Flood will inevitably lay the foundation for the demise” of the Israeli occupation entity.

He goes on to say, “We are witnessing a remarkable achievement and an unparalleled display of resilience in the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle, which has dealt a severe blow to the Zionist agenda,” adding that “an axis was formed to face the Western-Zionist project, that is the axis of resistance from Palestine to Lebanon to Yemen to Iran and Iraq.”

He also called for an end to normalization with the occupation and the complete severance of ties with it. Emphasizing the need for Islamic unity, he urged support for the Palestinian people and their resistance while strengthening their resilience.

He explained that the establishment of the Zionist entity in Palestine was a clear extension of oppressive colonialism aimed at preventing any unity in the Arab and Islamic worlds.

Abu Hamza’s speech emphasized that Yemen’s presence  marked a difference in Operation al-Aqsa Flood while noting that the popular marches in al-Sabe’en Square “served as a strong motivation for the Yemeni Armed Forces to continue and persist with determination and resolve.”

The Al-Quds Brigades spokesperson saluted the leader of Ansar Allah, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, adding that the Palestinian Resistance was listening carefully to his speeches regarding the battle in Gaza.

PIJ mourns Abu Hamza

On March 18, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement mourned the loss of Naji Abu Seif, also known by his nom de guerre Abu Hamza, a commander and spokesperson for its military wing. He was killed in a Zionist assassination along with his family and his brother’s family.

In a statement released by the Palestinian Resistance movement, Abu Hamza, the spokesperson for the al-Quds Brigades, was honored as “a voice of the Resistance, fearing no reproach in his devotion to God, eloquent in his speech, and courageous in his heroic positions in defense of the Resistance and the rights of our people, never wavering in his stance.”

The statement also denounced the “treacherous, spiteful assassination, carried out by the Nazi Zionist criminal entity,” describing it as part of a series of brutal massacres against the Palestinian people, including women and children, and ultimately backed by the United States.

“While the world stands in cowardly silence, [we] will only strengthen our determination to continue defending our people and their rights until the goals of this aggression are completely thwarted,” the PIJ concluded.

PIJ Bombs Gaza Envelope, Settler Killed in Resistance Operation

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Monday that it had launched a rocket barrage targeting Sderot, Netiv HaAsara, Zikim, and settlements surrounding Gaza.

Zionist media reported that air raid sirens sounded in Sderot and its surroundings for the second time in a row, signaling incoming rocket fire.

This escalation comes as the Palestinian resistance continues to retaliate against aggression on Gaza and the ongoing massacres against civilians.

Resistance operations see uptick

Al-Qassam Brigades launched on Friday a salvo of rockets toward the occupied city of Askalan.

That marks the second day that the Palestinian Resistance launched rockets toward occupied territories in response to the regime restarting its war on Gaza, with the al-Qassam Brigades announcing Thursday a barrage of “Moqadama M90” rockets targeting Tel Aviv in retaliation for the massacres committed by the occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Despite the ceasefire agreement and the commitment to its second phase, the occupation has deliberately imposed new conditions and pressure on Palestinian resistance, violating the truce.

The renewed Zionist aggression on Gaza has resulted in hundreds of martyrs and over a thousand wounded, as airstrikes target various areas across the besieged strip.

Zionist occupation forces admitted to tracking three rockets fired from Gaza toward central occupied Palestine, prompting alarm sirens in Tel Aviv, Gush Dan, and nearby settlements.

Zionist regime ‘to act with a force never seen before’

“For Gazans, this is the latest warning … The air force attacks on Hamas were only the first step. What comes next will be much harder, and you will have to pay the price in full. The evacuation of the population from the war zones will soon begin again. If all kidnapped ‘Israelis’ are not released and Hamas is not forced out of the Gaza Strip, ‘Israel’ will act with a force you have never seen before,” Katz said in a direct address to the people of Gaza on March 19.

The statement signals a further escalation in the occupation’s brutal onslaught in the Gaza Strip, which has already killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and displaced the overwhelming majority of the enclave’s residents.

Katz also urged Gazans to follow the advice of former US President Donald Trump, claiming that compliance with Zionist demands could lead to alternative “options” for them, including the forced displacement from Gaza permanently.

“Return the kidnapped and get rid of Hamas, then other options will open up for you, including passage to other parts of the world. The alternative is total destruction and devastation,” he added.

His remarks reinforce growing concerns over the regime’s plans to depopulate Gaza through systematic forced displacement, a policy widely condemned as a violation of international law.

Zionist settler killed in Resistance operation

A settler was killed and several others were injured in a combined ramming, stabbing, and shooting operation in the Yokneam Illit area, east of Haifa, Israeli media reported on Monday.

According to the regime’s Magen David Adom ambulance service, the person who carried out the operation was shot and killed at the scene.

Reports indicate that the person who carried out the operation initially drove his vehicle into a group of settlers waiting at a bus stop at Tishbi Junction before exiting the car and opening fire, injuring multiple Zionists.

Zionist channel Kan said the Palestinian who carried out the attack was from the 1948 occupied territories.

Video footage showed the moment of the operation.

Meanwhile, occupation forces continue their assaults on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank amid the genocidal war they are waging in Gaza.

Palestinian Resistance factions exalted the martyr Karam Jabarin and congratulated the qualitative operation.

Popular Resistance Committees:

The Haifa operation exposes the fragility and weakness of the security system within the zionist entity and reveals the falsehood of the slogans repeated by the pillars of the fascist zionist government.

We exalt the martyr fighter Karam Jabarin, the executor of the heroic operation in Haifa, and call upon all our people in the occupied lands of 1948, Al-Quds, and the West Bank to follow his example and strike the zionist enemy—soldiers and settlers alike—wherever they are on our occupied Palestinian land, in retaliation for the innocent blood spilled in Gaza at the hands of the criminal killers in the zionist government, backed by the American administration.

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine:

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praises the heroic Haifa operation, considering it a legitimate response to the occupation’s massacres and a clear message that our people are united and that resistance continues.

Mujahideen Movement:

This high-quality operation confirms the failure of all attempts to end the resistance and its choice in the West Bank and reflects the deep-rooted nature of resistance in the hearts of our people and its free sons.

This operation delivers a new security slap to the enemy’s security and intelligence apparatus and reaffirms that there is no safety for zionists anywhere their feet desecrate in Palestine.

This operation once again confirms the resistance’s ability to break the enemy’s prestige, cause it pain, and respond to its crimes, aggression, and malicious schemes aimed at eliminating the resistance, isolating our people, and expelling them from their land in Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Quds.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad:

We bless the heroic operation carried out by one of our people from the occupied interior near the city of Haifa, which resulted in several injuries among the usurping settlers.

This operation and others like it are a natural response to the occupation’s ongoing crimes against our people, the genocide it wages against their existence, and its oppression and criminality against our people across all of Palestine.

Hamas:

This operation, along with previous high-quality operations deep within the usurping zionist entity, reaffirms the resistance’s ability to break the enemy’s prestige, cause it pain, and respond to its crimes, aggression, and malicious plans aimed at eliminating the resistance, isolating our people, and expelling them from their land in Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Quds, in addition to its continuous criminal practices against our free prisoners.

These heroic operations represent the natural choice and appropriate response to the continued massacres, policies of siege, terror, and oppression, and attempts at displacement, particularly from the West Bank refugee camps, foremost among them Jenin and Tulkarem.

We call for escalating painful heroic operations in the heart of the occupied entity and at all points of its presence in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the occupied interior. We also call for the unity of our people and their rallying behind the choice of resistance until the occupation is expelled.

Abu Hamza: The Palestinian Hero and Hollywood Myths

Hollywood, backed by the United States, has always tried to craft the image of the invincible “superhero” through characters like Superman, Batman, and Captain America—figures meant to embody absolute power, protecting the world and saving the innocent.

In these films, the hero appears masked, possessing superhuman abilities, fighting “evil” in the name of justice. But what Hollywood never tells us is that this “hero” is part of a propaganda machine designed to promote America’s image as a force of absolute good, even as it arms and supports the occupation in killing innocent people.

In contrast, through the lens of reality, “Abu Hamza,” the spokesperson for Saraya Al-Quds, or the martyr Naji Abu Seif, emerged. After the mask was lifted, he appeared as a genuine Palestinian fighter, without cinematic effects or as a super-powered being, but with a determination stronger than fiction.

When the mask came off after his martyrdom, it did not reveal the face of a mythical hero manufactured in film studios. Instead, it was the face of a simple young man who lived among his people, fought for them, and was martyred carrying the cause of his homeland.

Similarly, Abu Obeida, spokesperson for Al-Qassam—and in fact all factions— appeared masked in such a way that, according to polls, their appearance carried a strength, anticipation, and breath-holding power greater than field operations. Indeed, a word from the masked man [Al-Mulatham] proved stronger than rockets.

For years, Western media has portrayed the Palestinian fighter as nothing more than a “terrorist” or an “outlaw,” while depicting the American or “israeli” soldier as a hero fighting for “freedom.” Yet the Palestinian has proven himself to be the rightful owner of the land and the true narrative. In contrast, their so-called heroes—products of paper and drama—have been exposed as cowards, oppressors, and enablers of crimes against humanity.

The reality was different when Abu Hamza’s face was revealed; it did not match the stereotypical image that had been imprinted in people’s minds. He was an ordinary young man with calm features—someone who could have been someone you know: a neighbor, a friend, a brother. But he chose the path of resistance, becoming the voice of the voiceless.

How many people imagined that behind the mask was a massive warrior with fierce features and a piercing gaze, as American action films portray their heroes? How many viewers assumed that a Palestinian fighter must be an emotionless beast? But when his face was unveiled, we saw eyes carrying the story of a captive defying his jailer, a heart beating with humanity for his people and comrades, and a gentle smile reminding the world that true heroes do not need superpowers to be immortalized in history.

As always, “israel” believes that by killing a person, it can end his cause. Yet it has not understood that Abu Hamza’s voice will not disappear. Instead, it will echo in the generations to come, carrying his cause forward. His voice was not merely a “military statement”—it was the heartbeat of the resistance, a symbol of the ordinary man who became a genuine legend, not because he possessed superpowers, but because he held faith and resilience in the face of the occupation.

Unlike Hollywood, where heroes are designed in script rooms and brought to life by actors on camera, Abu Hamza emerged from the battlefield itself—from the streets and alleys of Gaza, from the rubble of destroyed homes. He needed no super suit or extraordinary abilities—only an unbreakable will and steadfast determination that made him a symbol of Palestinian resistance.

If “Superman” was created as a model of American power, then Abu Hamza was the embodiment of the strength of the ordinary Palestinian, who does not need visual effects or fictional narratives to forge his legacy.

He was real in every sense of the word—fighting on the ground, protecting his people, and speaking to the world with a voice that “israel” could not silence, even after his martyrdom.

In the end, Abu Hamza will not just be another name on the list of Palestinian martyrs. He will remain a timeless symbol, inspiring future generations and reminding the world of the truth of this struggle. The mask may have fallen, but the man did not, nor did his cause.

If the occupation believes it can end the story by assassinating him, it has yet to realize that true stories do not end with death—they begin with it. This figure’s symbolism lies in its survival and permanence, just as the artist Naji Al-Ali has become a model.

Today, Palestinians lift their masks to tell the world: “We are not cinematic characters. We are not superheroes born in Hollywood studios. This is our real life, this is our struggle, and this is our strength in the face of occupation.

Has “israel” understood the message?

Abu Hamza will reappear once again—not with visual or sound effects—but he himself, with his own voice, his own eyes, his real mask, and a black headband embroidered with “Saraya Al-Quds,” his right hand waving with a powerful promise. At that moment, the truth will be undeniable: the schools of history have written the Palestinian to remain standing tall with honor despite all attempts at erasure.

No matter how hard the occupation may try to erase the face, it forgets that the Palestinian lineage is deeply rooted and ever-extending, and that the Palestinian womb gives birth only to heroes.

At that moment, rub your eyes well and be certain: heroism is originally, linguistically Palestinian.

Your sun will never set, Abu Hamza

Among the hundreds of civilians killed this week in Gaza a small number of Gaza's resistance were martyred.

Abu Hamza, legal name Naji Abu Saif, spokesperson for Palestinian Islamic Jihad was killed along side his wife.

I'm fairly certain the US would call it terrorism if an official spokesperson were targeted by bombs by an adversary. But here we are, back to Israel killing doctors journos and spokes people.

Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades Mourns PIJ Spokesman Abu Hamza

A pledge that through the days, you shall not be defeated… For victory grows where it is watered by blood.

The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades mourn the military spokesperson of the Saraya Al-Quds, the martyr leader Naji Abu Seif (Abu Hamza).

With great pride, dignity, and honor, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, mourn the martyr leader Naji Abu Seif “Abu Hamza,” who was the military spokesperson for the Saraya Al-Quds, the military arm of the Islamic Jihad Movement. He was martyred in a cowardly assassination carried out by the treacherous and terrorist zionist aircraft today, Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

The martyr leader “Abu Hamza” left his mark in the field of military media resistance work, and his presence instilled fear and terror in the crumbling occupation entity. He was a model of the resistant fighter, not the compromising one, always at the front lines of confrontation. Despite the immense pain of losing “Abu Hamza,” who never submitted, we confirm that this loss will only increase our determination and steadfastness to continue on the path of the martyrs in the struggle and fight until the last drop of blood for full and complete liberation, the expulsion of the occupation from all of our Palestinian land, the restoration of our people’s stolen rights, the recovery of the occupied Arab lands, and the avenging of the blood of our martyrs and leaders.

Therefore, we, in the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, extend our condolences to the family of the martyr leader Naji Abu Seif “Abu Hamza,” the military spokesperson of the Saraya Al-Quds, and to his relatives for his martyrdom and the martyrdom of several members of his family in this treacherous targeting.

We also extend our condolences to our people, the Arab nation, and all the free people of the world, in general, and to our comrades and brothers in blood, struggle, and unity of fate in the Islamic Jihad Movement and its military wing, the Saraya Al-Quds, including the leadership, cadres, and fighters. We salute the spirit of the leader “Abu Hamza” and the spirits of those who illuminated the path of freedom and independence with their blood, on the path of honor, the path of Al-Quds and Palestine. We salute all those still holding the trigger, pressing on until freedom is achieved and the occupation is driven out.

Our pledge is an eternal revenge that will never fade.
Glory to the martyrs, freedom to the prisoners, and recovery to the wounded.
The fog will soon lift from the hills… and indeed, we will certainly be victorious.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad Mourns Abu Hamza, Martyred Spokesperson of the al-Quds Brigades

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement (PIJ), mourned its military wing’s martyred commander and spokesperson Naji Abu Seif, more commonly known for his nom de guerre Abu Hamza, who was killed in a Zionist assassination alongside his family and his brother’s family.

In a statement issued by the Palestinian Resistance movement, Abu Hamza, the spokesperson for the al-Quds Brigades, was eulogized as “a voice of the Resistance, fearing no reproach in his devotion to God, eloquent in his speech, and courageous in his heroic positions in defense of the Resistance and the rights of our people, never wavering in his stance.”

The statement also condemned the “treacherous, spiteful assassination, carried out by the nazi zionist criminal entity,” as part of a series of brutal massacres against the Palestinian people, including women and children, and ultimately supported by the United States.

“While the world stands in cowardly silence, [we] will only strengthen our determination to continue defending our people and their rights until the goals of this aggression are completely thwarted,” the PIJ concluded.

The whole statement reads:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah that they are dead. Rather, they are alive, but you do not perceive.”

With great pride and honor, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine announces to our great Palestinian people and to the Arab and Islamic nations the martyrdom of leader Naji Abu Seif “Abu Hamza”, the spokesperson for Saraya Al-Quds—the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine—who was assassinated by the criminal army in a treacherous attack that also targeted his family and the family of his brother.

The martyred spokesperson was known as a voice of the resistance, fearing no reproach in his devotion to Allah, eloquent in his speech, and courageous in his heroic positions in defense of the resistance and the rights of our people, never wavering in his stance.

This treacherous and spiteful assassination, carried out by the nazi zionist criminal entity as part of a series of brutal massacres that have, in the past hours, shed the blood of hundreds of innocent people, including children and women—supported, encouraged, and funded by the U.S. administration, while the world stands in cowardly silence—will only strengthen our determination to continue defending our people and their rights until the goals of this aggression are completely thwarted.

Indeed, it is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.

Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine
Tuesday, 18 Ramadan 1446 Hijri – March 18, 2025

Part of Abu Hamza’s last speech, thanking Hezbollah and Shaheed Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah:

“We faced this occupation with a group of believers from Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and the Islamic Republic of Iran on behalf of one and half billion Muslims. We pay tribute to the free people, and to the axis of resistance, starting with our resistant people in Lebanon. And the fighters of Hezbollah, who remained steadfast in the field, and prevented the enemy from achieving its goals. They fought bravely, on every piece of land in the villages and border towns.

And we remember the martyr of the dear nation, the great leader, his eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, may God have mercy on him, and his brothers, the martyrs, the leaders and fighters.”

Yousef Al-Hassani, son of the senior commander in Al-Quds Brigades, Martyr Iyad Al-Hassani writes:

One of Abu Hamza’s close associates says:

“When the Sayyed was martyred, Abu Hamza remained deeply depressed and sad for a long time, breaking down in tears during the late hours of the night. He even requested a small tape recorder and kept it by his side during the war to listen to the Sayyed’s speeches. He would turn to his voice whenever circumstances became difficult, and he vowed during his prayers to avenge him and the martyrs of the nation.”

Report: Important words of the great commander of Palestine, Abu Hamza:

O Arabs! There is no excuse for anyone to refrain from the battle we are waging on behalf of the Islamic nation, especially those who possess armies, planes, and artillery. Is it not time for you to mobilize your artillery, following the example of the free in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq?

We say to the Arabs and Muslims: Just as you turn to Allah with obligatory prayers and fasting, turn to Palestine with arms and the duty of jihad.

Is it not time for you to cast off the garment of servitude and humiliation to the greatest devil, America, and follow in the footsteps of the honorable?

We say to our people that the resistance shares with you all the conditions you are experiencing, and we will later reveal the behind-the-scenes of this battle and the protection of the mujahideen in the alleys of danger and the arenas of martyrdom.
