Finished the implementation of chests and started to create a basic inventory system 💰

Right now, the whole map is not very structured - the next step is therefore to structure the code, make a template and a second map to try it out!

Exchanged the entire color palette with something more reasonable 😂

I am color blind, so I never noticed that the game was kind of green - now I am using the palette somebody else made for that reason 😁

Also started to work on the character menu 🔥

I'm obsessed with details and they make me excited ok

In order, we have: Kibitzer sitting down in front of the TV (the TV will glow and make noise in game), a clothes line animation I'm proud of, and some templates for grass objects that will slowly sway and then move more rapidly if Kibitzer walks over them. :3

I'm really proud of how this looks! I have scenes planned for both day and night (+ lights on or off), so I decided to use this "light switch" to demonstrate the differences!

Also I just found out my video settings weren't set to "best" quality, so the videos should look better from now on. (And yes, the date is right, I just repeatedly forgot to post this sooner haha.)

Welcome to Kibi's world!!

I will share updates (mostly art) of the pixel RPG I'm developing. The player character is Kibitzer, a silly little gremlin. So far, I'm on my own, so things are slow going, but I'm determined!

The game is still pretty early in development. Right now, I have two small areas done, some talk sprites, a functional inventory, a text box system so the characters can talk, and some other simple details.
