🚜🌾 The news-highlight of this #plenary (so far) came to be when Parliament voted on measures to strenghten European farmers. New rules regarding contracts between farmers and buyers, changes to the EU's CAP, and simplifications and incentives for farmers to organize, intend to strengthen the position of European farmers against more powerful actors in the supply-chain, such as large-scale buyers, and improve the resilience of (small) farmers in the EU.
