… and the original note
… and the original note
Not a bad start at all, straight from a handwritten note into reflect and mostly free thanks to a bit of self hosting.
I took off the case of my RM2 for the first time in years, and I must say, what a beauty it is!
#Remarkable2
Suffice it to say... yes, I am enjoying the #ReMarkable2 (#ReMarkable) tablet. Especially creating my own custom templates!
I’m also preparing for a trip this weekend. It’s just a weekend trip so I’m packing my Steam Deck, reMarkable 2, some accessories, and my clothes in an LTT backpack. Thing’s as spacious as a suitcase!
Prøver lige igen. Nogle der har erfaringer med #reMarkable2 som noteværktøj? Jeg har flere bruge den og det virker jo ret smart 😎

I can give a way a rarely used #remarkable2 folio keyboard for a good price. 60€ including shipping in Europe..
@aram any of these options support the the Zotero app and reading academic articles at A4 size within Zotero?
Also, this #reMarkable2 has been SUPER HELPFUL for brainstorming on recipes. This is the web recipe that @AndromedaGalaxi uses but it was cut down by half its servings.
Was able to turn the page into a PDF, send it to my iPad, then wire it directly to the tablet and use it for #cooking and markup.
Super awesome!!
I've updated the illuminated security #threatmodeling workbook, designed for either pen&paper or #reMarkable2 use. It's now a lot more detailed and with hyperlinked sections. At some point I'll get around to documenting how to use it, but if you've read @adamshostack 's book it should be self-explanatory. Entirely free to download, use etc - CC-BY-SA licensed.

To those using the #remarkable2 or the #remarkablePaperPro, I had a look at the "Methods" templates (available on the rM2 as of software version 3.17).
Here’s a write-up about the difference compared to reMarkable’s previous templating style, how the new templates are structured, and thus how you can make your own:
These seem really cool, and I've read that they feel like you're actually writing on paper. I have a convertible laptop and I've found that writing on it is difficult because there's no friction between the stylus and the screen.
For me, the deal breaker on the #Remarkable2 is that you can't search on the device (or the cloud) for what you've written. That doesn't make it any better than a big notebook.

Been a bit since I got my #Remarkable2 and I have to say, aside from the lack of a backlight, this product is pretty solid.
I don’t think it’s worth the MSRP, but if you can get one on discount it’s good if you’re a pen-and-paper kind of person.
I imported an expense tracker image (PNG) and I’ve been using it for financials; super fun!
I just uploaded the stand I made for my Remarkable Paper Pro. I designed this one to have a nice reading angle for transcribing my writing.
Works well as a phone stand too.
I've included a version without the icon in case you don't like that or don't have an easy multi-filament setup.
After four years of daily note-taking on the reMarkable 2 I’ve got quite some opinions on it. I love my reMarkable, it turns taking notes into a joyful activity. Yet I’m still torn on whether or not to recommend it to friends. There are lots of great things about the paper tablet, but also some heavy downsides...
