My #Cork #mastodaoine and #UCC folks. Just how bad is parking on UCC campus? I'll be doing the #pme from August and want to know what to expect. Is it as bad as #SETU #waterford where it can take anywhere up to 40 mins to get a parking space? Having a car is a necessity for the course so my plans for public transport are out the window.

Drove in to the Uni carpark this morning and was greeted by a row of clamped cars. If the Uni does not provide adequate parking facilities or a reliable park and ride to/from their sports facility (where there is parking facilities) then it feels wrong that they should profit off the situation. Unless I arrive in at 8.30am I know I will have to allow approx 40mins to secure a parking space. Due to accomodation shortages many students drive long distances to attend. #setu #wit #StudentLife
