How many of you know this #shortcut? In the #DuckDuckGo (DDG) search engine, you can use so called bangs (read more on https://duckduckgo.com/bangs).

If you have DDG set as your default #search engine in #Firefox (you should 😉), you can make a quick #translation to popular languages right from your address bar! Enter `!gt<destination language> <text>` en press Enter. Once you get the hang of it, you won't use anything else! #softwaretip

The so called "bang search" in DuckDuckGo (as the search text was preceded by an exclamation mark) results in a French translation ("un ver vert dans un verre vert") for the provided string.
