Neighbour checked his hay and decided it dry enough, so it got flipped, then swathed and now he's baling.
And will be baling half the night by the looks of it. If that cloud doesn't burst on him.
The baler-wrapper goes *THUNK* whenever it coughs out a finished round bale and then rattles as it wraps the plastic foil around it.

You might think loud machinery scares storks off, but quite the opposite, it attracts them, because they know what it means.
This is one of our storks, calmly walking ahead of the noisy mower, in the already mowed path.
The fresh cut grass exposes a lot of easy to peck food and does not interfere with takeoff and landing as tall grass does.
When the neighbours plowed their field in spring, there was a flock of storks following the tractor, like seagulls chasing a fishing boat.
Now it's breeding season and they're protective of their territory, so no flocks. But ours come when theiy hear the Iseki (even just to trailer things) and today they were delighted to see some actual mowing.
