Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are an English electronic band formed in Meols, Merseyside in 1978 by Andy McCluskey (vocals, bass guitar) and Paul Humphreys (keyboards, vocals). Regarded as pioneers of electronic music, OMD combined an experimental, minimalist ethos with pop sensibilities, becoming key figures in the emergence of synth-pop; McCluskey and Humphreys also introduced the "synth duo" format to British popular music. In the United States, the band were an early presence in the MTV-driven Second British Invasion.

The Alan Parsons Project was a British rock band formed in London in 1975. Its core membership consisted of producer, audio engineer, musician and composer Alan Parsons, and singer, songwriter and pianist Eric Woolfson. They shared writing credits on almost all of their songs, with Parsons producing or co-producing all of the recordings, while being accompanied by various session musicians, some relatively consistent.

I think the comma on the projected image comes from having cylindrical mirrors. There's only one location where the cylindrical mirror downstream from the light source parabolic mirror and the second mirror plus the output lens can lock in their design with the #dlp chip. You can notice in the sample patterns showing a quadricule with dots in the center that if you focus, only the center is in focus, but if you try to focus on the top edge the dots become comma #radial lines or #tangential lines

This brings back memories of going to an #OKC Dodgers games (oh wait they were the redhawks back then). We picked one player to heckle and we kept saying the most ridiculous things to him and it really started to get under his skin.

Part of me feels guilty about this today, another part get grandiose, wondering the hecklee made it to the majors and maybe he now credits his awesomeness to some really ridiculous hecklers in Oklahoma who convinced him he needed to get out of the minor leagues and into the majors asap. In which case, that means I may have had a significant role in a major league player having a big league career. Ok, that is a fanciful possibility. It is much more likely that I was a jerk of a heckler, who is now wanting to rationalize the exquisite beauty of yelling the most outrageous, yet slightly poetic insult to an absolute stranger.

Baseball is weird.
