Let these rolls sit for awhile before developing them, so I didn't remember what was on them. Really enjoyed this frame, and how the light was captured on SantaColor 100. Lots of mixed reviews with this film stock, but I really have enjoyed my results with it.

I take a lot of photos of people in places. It's always my goal that the people in the photos be unidentifiable or anonymous and I really love how the "ghosts" in this image from the trichrome process satisfy that goal. I always think of photographs as a measure of time and these artifacts really tell the story of how temporary we are in a space.

Had some beautifully sunny days with almost no wind last week aka IR trichrome weather. Tried to get out into the city to gets some of those beautiful red trees contrasting with some beautiful Chicago backdrops.

I thought there was a halation effect happening with this film, but I most certainly had a black pro-mist filter on this camera at this time. It really works with the winter/autumn sun.

A couple weeks ago I took some photos of my Fuji GW690 to document my "Texpan" setup for panoramic 35mm film photography, and when I set it up, my 3D printer film holders disintegrated into dust. So I caved and upgraded to an aluminum set with an actual mask for the film. I'll shoot a couple of rolls over the next few weeks/months and share the results when the time comes.
Was just taking photos of my #TexPan setup for my Fuji #GW690 to show it off, and as I loaded up film to demonstrate how it all worked, the 3D printed film holders literally disintegrated. Maybe time to invest in something a little stronger. Maybe just shoot it as a medium format camera for a little bit.
First stop anytime I am off the train in Ogilvie is walking to the balcony over the south entrance and seeing what the shadows are doing that day.

Going through my photos from the year and found a bittersweet one. Taken on February 26th during a day of demonstrations of support for Ukraine downtown Chicago-- I always hoped to share this photo on a day when Ukrainian independence was secured and war had left their home. I hope these people, their friends, and their families are all safe and secure.

One of my favorite photos I've taken with this setup. There are a few different areas in the city where you can what feels like the entire city in profile. The cyclist riding by while a train full of people passes overhead, and the towering offices and condos of Streeterville look on-- it feels like a portrait of the city in profile.
