Today’s nostalgia is brought to you by the Magnetic Scrolls Collection in an age of custom single-application window managers on MS-DOS.
What a calm, civilised look that was! Not as clumsy or random as a blaster. Of course the low resolution made it tricky to arrange all the windows.
Not a fan of how a number of common verbs/commands were made available via menus; that could easily lead to the false impression that those were all that were needed.
(Faintly interestingly, the Amiga version looked exactly the same instead of using Intuition)
