* I am not an activist. In fact, for the last several months I've found myself in a state of paralysis. Thank you to those who have been able to move, make angry, beautiful noise, and inspire.
All is dulled to dust.
Particles dance in the winds
as we shield our eyes.

Stuck in bed feeling not-too-great, and I'm happy for the slice of sky I can see from my room.
Thanks to this window,
I can watch the birds fly by
from my lonely nest.

Rounding the corner,
facing the low winter sun,
we must feel our way.
I try to write a Haiku a day, as I love word games & I love writing.
Today, I took a notion & wrote a very simple one in the Irish language (Gaeilge) of which I have a very poor grasp, despite learning it in both primary & secondary school.
It's such a beautiful language, which I'll push on through & learn properly some day I hope!
BhΓ brΓ³nach orm.
Chuala mΓ© Γ©in ag canadh,
agus thΓ©adh mo chroΓ.
Translation:
I was sad.
I heard birds singing,
and my heart warmed
Dance with me
The way time
Waltzes order
To disorder.
Post-Christmas coffee shop Haiku.
Eight solo tables.
Nobody here looks lonely.
It's our chance to breathe!
This is our river.
