• I just think that it's still a #Downgrade compared to my #X230Tablet in that regard in that I can toolfree swap batteries in 5 seconds without preparing for it.

They could've done it like #Lenovo did with some #ThinkPads and include a smaller internal battery so people don't have to shut-down to swap, or like #ToughBooks and even some old #PowerBooks just have more than one slot for a #battery to get chugged in.

• Still I think they could've done better and just build cheaper, abeit thiccer but longer lasting #BatteryPacks with #COTS parts like 18650 or 21700 cells...

Cuz the #DRM on Lenovo's devices prevent 3rd parties from building some once Lenovo decides to not give a shit anymore...

Il prezzo, 6.30 € l'uno, è più che ragionevole se confrontato con altre cose che ho visto in rete.

Ok, ordinato dal ferramenta all'angolo *due* set di chiavi #Torx tipo coltellino sguizzero (toot precedente), a 6 € l'uno.

Il fornitore glieli manderà con la consegna settimanale del venerdì, quindi non c'è neppure un furgone che deve girare apposta per due pezzetti.

Meglio avere un utensile che non si usa che fare un lavoro male perché non si ha l'utensile giusto.

Gah, stupid manufacturers and their weird #screws.
While I have a nice set of #Torx (with and without 'security' hole), #hex and the usual phillips and slot head #screwdrivers, apparently I need a bloody #pentalobe to disassemble my #Xiaomi #MiA1 phone.

While most replacement charging board sets come with the require tools including the screwdrivers, I was hoping to be able to open it up already to apply a quick-fix in the mean time...
