Black and white ink drawing.

A deformed, human-like figure stands beneath a moon partly shrouded by silvery clouds. This figure has his hand over his vanishing chest. This hand, the shoulders, and the face of the figure are covered in strange holes. Many of the holes converge, forming misshapen emptinesses. The figure's face has more holes than any other part of him. Only his mouth remains and has been transformed into a monstrous mockery of a human-like mouth. From the missing nose upwards is only holes and empty spaces. There are no eyes in this sleeper, in order to facilitate a more profound unawareness.

In the sky white spheres hang just above the human-like figure. These "globs" mirror the holes in the head of the human-like figure. What is their purpose? I do not think anybody knows.

To the right of the figure, in the far background, are four ghostly trees. To the left of the figure, in the background, is a strange grimacing monster.

I'm not really sure why this is, but I've noticed lately that #YouTube's algorithm is "recommending" a lot of videos to me lately that are strong triggers to #trypophobia, like these videos seem purposely designed to be shocking and disgusting.

Trypophobia is an aversion to the sight of repetitive patterns or clusters of small holes or bumps, and it is a common aversion is humans, because such patterns are reminiscent of disease and decay.

I have a theory.
