Mein #MiniFreak #Synthesizer von #Arturia hat mit dem neuen Firmware Update einen #Vocoder bekommen. Coole Sache. Das werde ich mir heute Abend erstmal mit dem #VST Plugin in #Reason anschauen und nächste Woche dann auch mal direkt mit der Hardware testen. Bin ganz froh, dass ich bei der Suche nach meinem ersten Synthie bei Arturia gelandet bin.

Bill Laswell revealed that his manager Roger Trilling originally recorded the phrase "Ahhhhh, this stuff is really fresh", during some studio sessions. According to both Laswell and Roger Trilling himself, the later was imitating a record executive who would reportedly exclaim "this stuff is really fresh!" whenever he heard a song he liked.
This sampled imitation of an executive by Trilling was spoken through a vocoder.
"Change the Beat" by Beside & Fab 5 Freddy became one of the three most sampled vinyl in history, appearing in over 2600 tracks as of 2022.
