This is an abstract colour photo of the nose of a cold war Soviet MiG-23 fighter jet. Tucson, Arizona (2013). At the base and in the centre of the image is a narrow, hollow, shiny, metal tube that extends back about a quarter of a metre and gradually blurs out of focus. Beyond is a large, round, nose cone. Behind and blurring further are two rectangular, in the vertical plane, air-intakes both with red blanks inserted. Above is the semi-circle of the canopy with a egg shaped metal frame facing forward. The inboard section of the wings are so blurred it's more left to the imagination. Below the jet is a yellow sandy surface, above, is a clear and cloudless blue sky, graduating darker towards the top of the photo.

Those were our planes. They were spotted on radar. To avoid getting hit, they dropped a bomb on vegetable garden. Why are they flying over populated areas?
