Did you know if you ward your house or sanctum you don't get your ass kicked by random monsters trying to come screaming through in the night?
You can set them to let certain things through.
I trace pentagrams on walls and doors with charged moon water (add a dash of salt), then burn white sage regularly to reinforce the barriers.
White chalk, visualization, and white sage (again) work in a pinch.
The smoke from the sage soaks into the chalk and walls.
Some notes: If you somehow call it inside. You've created a bug box and it's going to be pissed.
