BBC has responded (in the purely technical sense) to my follow-up complaint about their skewed politcal coverage. They refuse to acknowledge any error, do anything, or have any further correspondence; they've evidently marked their Reform-pandering as #wontfix

oh i've accidentally been defederating every pixelfed instance because it identifies itself as "PixelFedBot" and i block every user agent with "bot" in the it #wontfix

@stman @theruran @50htz @vidak @forthy42 obviously #nvidia doesn't have any interest fixing it and their #ECC functionality is exclusive to the highest-end #Quadro, #Tesla & #nVidiaGrid cards, usually implemented only in #Software, thus sacrificing ~ 20% of VRAM.

• So for #consumers and #prosumers, there will be "#WontFix!" because #nvidia has neither commercial incentive nor penalty to incentivize them.

I'm not surprised of this at all, only that it took so long surprises me...

My car's ECU is from Bosch and airgapped as in you need to plug stuff into the ODB2 port.

My washing machine is AEG and the closest SIEMENS product I know of and use are the traffic lights, which AFAIK still use big-ass relays to switch 230V AC for the lights directly and have hardwored logic, including "hostile green detection" which will instantly trigger service mode (yellow lights flash) necessitating onsite technician to swap the board.

My Pixel 8a on Android 15 keeps semi-localising into Dutch-- note the date (Saturday, not zaterdag) and no-service alert are still in English. This is new since I gave up and took the OS update from Android 14! Google phone software quality has been on the wane since Android 10. If it were going into like Chinese or Hungarian etc. I might care, but I speak Dutch (and used a Dutch OS locale on Symbian 2005-2010) so w/e I guess fuck it #wontfix
