The finishing move of my routine. Can you tell that I love (yet also hate) a Russian layback? โค๏ธ
I absolutely love the shape, however this was such a struggle since, for some reason, I decided to do this trick on spinning and at the end of the routine at that!?!
Until the last week of training I sometimes fell out of this move. And I mean really head first๐๐
.
So during competition I told myself to just go slow, even if that meant not spinning to a complete stop, to prevent falling. And I did it๐ช๐ผ
All in all, lesson learned. Hanging from one knee and having to move your head down on a spinning pole is hard. I'll do this on static next time.
