@vkc I voted no, but it’s not because of your face or anything like that. I just don’t really like seeing people’s faces in thumbnails, and I really, really hate the whole “crazy face” thing that people do for their YouTube thumbnail images. I know those images work because they get more views, but damn it, I really hate them.

@Linux not all Linux support forums are like that.

Okay, I swear this is my last switch – but MX Linux KDE? I’m OBSESSED! 💖 It’s SO smooth, pretty, and fast. 😍 The interface is just stunning, and everything is super stable. No crashes, no drama. 🚀 Seriously, I’m never going back! 💅🏻💻 😉

Best description of the current state of windows!

@vimtips I feel very dumb now

@mittwerk check dependencies on unit files or dead symlinks that don’t link to anything anymore

@obrhoff if I didn’t know what it was and I showed this to my wife she probably would say “is that some sort of instant pot” ;)

@eosfpodcast it’s a prototype. It was never designed to sell volume. They needed to get something in people’s hands to see how people actually use it.

Upgraded my parents, and in-laws, computers from Windows 10 to MX Linux.
Both of their machines were nagging them about Windows 11 and neither could run it; both machines had a reasonable spec and now run extremely well, especially compared to Windows 10.
They said it was like having a new computer 🤓

I have moved to only drinking whiskey that does not require ice. Am I becoming a whisky snob? ;)

@JoeRess @LateNightLinux

I do appreciate Late Night Linux talking about it though. I’ve been using it for years as well, and in fact, just set it up the other day in a container, and it really works well. Apologize to everyone about the caps. It’s just that I was listening to the podcast and thinking to myself wow they’re gonna talk about Apache guacamole but then never said Apache the whole time.

@JoeRess @LateNightLinux

Because it lends it credibility. The Apache foundation is a well-known and respected organization with resources.

It truly is a great product and the Apache foundation deserves credit for fostering and funding its development. More people might use it if they knew that.

@LateNightLinux

How in the world can you guys talk about Guacamole and not mention that it’s an APACHE FOUNDATION Project!!!

The product name is APACHE Guacamole!

@visone you are absolutely right. I should have!

@TWSheppard actually yes it will if you do -up. That’s what I did :(

I don’t usually rant, but this deserves one. I upgraded my BOG STANDARD Pi-hole from version 5.x to 6.x, and IT BROKE EVERYTHING. DNS stopped working, the DHCP settings page lost its static lease section (and no button to add them), and the new web interface crawled like molasses on my Raspberry Pi 3. My setup wasn’t customized – everything was configured through the web interface.

Fail guys..fail
