Mayfly catching some rays on a picnic bench.
He seemed very happy fluttering gently in the warm breeze.

Shame home.social is closing down. Anyone got the migration hints and tips to hand? Where is everyone heading?

Several years ago I bought a cheap Disney Princess 35mm camera to give to my young niece. The film advance wheel was hard to turn, so I got her a better camera after shooting a test roll.
This is one photo from that test roll that I really liked (January 2016). #BelieveInFilm #MonochromeMonday
This is one of my personal favorites. In Galveston, Tx looking out at the Gulf I turned around to see this tall ship sailing across the sand. Surreal, a mist rising off the wet sand and a Phantom Tall Ship sailing by on the other side of a sand dune. Something about light and mist gave the ship a ghostly appearance.

@ju_and_the_cats Rigging up a shade of some sort might help if it gets really hot again this summer?
@ju_and_the_cats Perhaps you plant them out too early? I was thinking to put mine out last week, and Googled it to be sure. I found some results saying to wait until the temperature is a consistent 17 degrees C.
@ju_and_the_cats Where are you, and when do you start them? I get a good crop on a London (UK) roof terrace. I start them indoors in February and plant them out when it is decently warm. Already got some flowers, which I pollinate using a paintbrush to be sure.
