@prieco Most of the time, quite good! Not always, but most of the time it's enough. I'll try to pay attention at when it works and when it doesn't, but nowadays my brain is not that consistent with itself 🤷

- the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community are human rights;
- races do not exist, we are all equally human;
- immigrants have the same human rights as you or me or anyone else;
- science-based medicine works and vaccines are the most important creation of humanity;
- etc. (you get the idea).
Bigots, fascists, "genAI" lovers, and all other anti-human grifters are immediately blocked!

@existentialcomics I don't think they are any good at mimicking humanity either; in fact, they depend exclusively on the techno-enthusiasts' strong confirmation bias
Some people are apparently claiming that Silicon Valley Tech Bros have consciousness, like normal humans.
As someone who studies these issues carefully, I can assure you that this is an utterly preposterous claim. Yes, they can mimic humans, but they are fundamentally incapable of original thought.
Saludos
My demand for 8/3: Scrap that anti-feminist propaganda machine called genAI! It generates misogynist slop even in the hands of those declaring to want the opposite.
The German ministry for research @bmftr_bund just published a paper depicting female researchers in history who have been distorted to conform to gender norms - even with explicit prompts for smiles and dancing. But even without such prompts genAI reproduces and reinforces female oppression.
Publicly funded.

There appear to be at least three series of these in size, and some letters appear to be missing.
As the size increased, the complexity of the decoration increased.

Brilliant European women powered progress, but the credit did not always go to them.
Melitta Bentz invented the coffee filter. History called her a ‘housewife’.
Marthe Gautier found Down Syndrome’s extra chromosome. Her boss took the spotlight.
Maria Anna Mozart composed masterpieces. Wolfgang Amadeus’ name survived, hers vanished.
Janet Sobel pioneered drip painting. Jackson Pollock was the genius.
This International Women’s Day, let’s restore their stories and give the credit they deserve!
It's weird to me that people were surprised that Bill Gates was in the Epstein files. Like...really? You were surprised that the guy who invented Internet Explorer 6 was evil??
Come on.

Going to call GenAI “Clown Computing” from here on out.
»The reason RAM prices went up 4x is that a massive amount of not-yet-manufactured memory was bought with money that doesn't really exist to be put into GPUs that haven't been made yet, to be installed in data centers that haven't been built, powered by infrastructure that may never exist, to satisfy demand that isn't actually there, in order to generate profits that are mathematically impossible.«
