One of the first acts of artist activism I ever saw as a kid was #SineadOConnor ripping up that photo of the pope on SNL. I was never the same after. It forever changed my understanding of what artistic expression could be for.

ok, so, if you can't open #steam in #debian or other #linux distros and you're getting an «Assertion 'device' failed at src/libsystemd/sd-device/device-private.c:103» in the logs (which comes from udev) the solution (except on arch) is to install 'libnm0:i386' so

$ sudo apt install libnm0:i386

and you're done!
this happens due to a combination of library ordering, package updates with optionals and a bug in libudev, so it took a bit of digging to find, here's the comment that gave me the solution

The wildfire smoke was making the color of sunrise all weird this morning, and I really wanted this foreground to work with the boats but it feels all unbalanced. I should have shot just the boats and Coast Guard building. You can't win them all.
