I'm not a city guy. I don't really like them or enjoy visiting them. But I often find myself at places like Chicago, New Orleans and later this year New York for work. But I do enjoy this style of photography. I also only have my cell phone during these trips. Here is a shot I took earlier this week in Chicago with my iPhone 12. 'Bridge over Troubled Water' - Ok this is well out of my comfort zone, but as John Cleese once said...'nothing will stop you being creative so effectively as the fear of making a mistake'. 'Pinnacles' - Who would think I could be disappointed with this shot. Well on one hand I love it, on the other hand you should have seen it 30mins before. So why are you looking at the shot you ask. Well quite simply we were late. This was an 18km round trip to this spot, 12 of which was in the woods. It took us longer than expected to find the unmarked path to the beach. I literally had enough time to throw my camera on the tripod and fire off a bunch of shots before darkness fell. Thanks for visiting.

'Stand Proud' - Funnily enough this was my second night on Second Beach. The first night was a dull washout with zero sky. But things were looking good for round two. 'Just out of Reach' - I spent quite a lot of time trying to find a composition close to falls using the rocks, small falls and the stream as foreground interest, I was getting frustrated. I was too close and having to shoot at a really steep angle that was taking away from the beauty of this small waterfall. It wasn't until I went to leave that I turned back and saw this composition. I am literally standing in the middle of the road shooting back. I guess the morel is give it one more look before you pack up and leave. Thanks for looking.

'Morning Reflection' - What a way to start a workshop with @fototripper in the Canadian Rockies. He managed to pull through on a perfect sunrise on day one.
