For #PhotoMonday Here is a picture I took of Wazee Lake in Wisconsin. Fun Fact: this lake used to be a coal mine and goes down 355 ft (108 m) according to Wikipedia.
@BasicAppleGuy what kind of switches are in that keyboard?
tfw you already know what's going to happen 😤
Hell, 2009
Get comfortable.
@Chasing_Halation These kinds of pictures always remind me of, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost. (Here's a link https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/42891/stopping-by-woods-on-a-snowy-evening).
And the fact that you essentially paraphrased the poem with this post will only strengthen that mental link for me.
[pretend that this is a very whitty and awe inspiring title]
Shot on a Rival Elite 120 by Metropolitan Cameras on Kentmere 100.
A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.
@mcc I'd say that being "close to metal" is actually rust's biggest weakness, because it usually makes the metal a lot more brittle causing it to beak off in little orange chunks. I don't really know what the rest of your post means though.
Shot on a metropolitan Rival 120 box camera from the 1920's. I couldn't use a timer for the exposure lengths so I had to count of the seconds by hand with a metronome. I used kentmere 400 for this one, but recently got some Ilford 400, Im excited to try it out and I know exactly when I'm going to.
