This year I made it come true. This mountain was (not) on my list for so many years. Also because of a particular reason: Lagginhorn is known as an easy 4000m peak in Switzerland. Actually it's not that easy & especially it's not harmless!

This year alone, there have been several fatal accidents, this tour is often underestimated. But I took the risk. Conditions were ideal, and me in a good shape. And greater than the joy of reaching the summit was the joy I felt after the 1,700-metre descent.

Ich liebe hohe Berge und noch mehr, wenn ein Weg hinaufführt. Selbst wenn’s mal schmal, steil oder ausgesetzt ist: genau das macht’s spannend.

Für mich ist so eine Tour der perfekte Kontrast zum Alltag. Kein Lärm, keine Hektik, nur Schritt für Schritt nach oben. Und oben? Ein unglaubliches Panorama, das man sich erarbeitet hat. Die Wanderung auf den Piz Julier zählt definitiv zu meinen Favoriten. 🤩

Unsere Ferien letzten Sommer im Engadin: Viele Kilometer, viele Höhenmeter – und so viele Wow-Momente! Der Trail durchs Val Roseg ist abwechslungsreich, wild und wunderschön. Ganz hinten hat ein Tee auf uns gewartet – mit Blick auf Gletscher und Gipfel. Und ganz ehrlich: Jeder Schritt hat sich gelohnt.
